Preeto arrives at the hospital to see that Rajbeer's fine. She yells at him to take better care of himself from now on. Neelam comes to give Ishu her sargi. The next day Gagandeep, Beeji, Meeta and Ishu start their fast. Preeto too wants to keep a fast for Rajbeer, but she doesn't know how to execute it without anyone noticing it.

Preeto comes running to the hospital, clearly upset and worried. She looks for Rajbeer everywhere, and finds him in a room with a bandaged wrist. The doctor asks Rajbeer how it happened, and he tells he was trying to steer away from a kid who appeared infront of his car. Preeto comes rushing in, and asks the doctor how Rajbeer is now. The doctor assures her that everything's fine and that he can go home now. After the doctor leaves, Preeto yells at Rajbeer for scaring her so much! She asks her where his attention was when drving, to which he says that he was thinking about her. 😛 She tells him how worried she got after the phone call and the whole way to the hospital. She's been praying to and remembering God ever since she got to know. He mockingly tells her it's good she remembered someone. She goes on and on talking about how he should take better care of herself, if not for him then for those who care about him. He tries to comfort her by saying sorry, holding around her and telling her he'll be more careful in the future. She tells him he's able to take care of the country but not himself. She doesn't want him to say sorry only to please her, but only if he truly intend to take better care of him in the future. If not for himself, then atlaest for the person who.. Rajbeer asks her to comeplete her sentence, but she doesn't. She tells him he should understand what there is to understand, and if he doesn't want to understand, then let it be. She leaves from there, and Rajbeer smiles to himself.
Preeto's at home thinking about the hospital incident, and accidentaly says 'I won't say it' out loud. Beeji (who's massaging Bani's head) asks her what she won't say? She comes with the excuse that she won't tell Sonu not to read that much any longer, as she doesn't listen anyways. Beeji agrees with her. Meeta comes and tells she's bought extra milk to make kheer for Karvachauth fast Beeji and Ishu are keeping. Sonu asks why Ishu's keeping a fast as she's not even married yet. Beeji tells her that people who've chosen eachother from the heart, keep a fast for the well being of the other regardless of them being married. If a girl's heart beats faster for someone, then why not keep a fast for his long life, his companionship and to keep him away from all evil? Bani says that Dhruv too should keep a fast for Ishu then, just like Gagandeep does for her. Beeji tells her that they can't suggest that to him. She tells Meeta to go and check if Ishu's ready as Neelam's coming over to give Sargi.
Neelam arrives. Sonu goes upstairs to read, and Bani goes to open the door. Preeto thinks how she too wants everything good for Rajbeer, and that they might not be binded in a relationship yet, but their hearts have. Her heart beats according to his.
Neelam puts all the stuff on the table, and Meeta goes to get Ishu. Preeto sits down with Neelam, and tells her it looks like she's gained weight after the news of marriage. Preeto continues saying that when Ishu comes to their house and make delicious parathe with desi ghee, and then she's bound to gain weight. Neelam says they're used to eating continental only, and she's sure Ishu will change her preferences too after marriage. Before Preeto gets to reply, Beeji agrees that girls have to change after marriage.
Meeta arrives with Ishu. Neelam tells Ishu she's happy she's kept a fast for Dhruv. She herself doesn't believe in them as it's all quite outdated. Preeto tells her not to worry, as she's already on a liquid diet everyday. Keeping a fast every day will surely give Ryan a long life :P Preeto also tells Neelam the importance of the fast for a couple. It makes their love and relationship stronger and keeps them away from all evil, hinting towards Neelam. Neelam interrupts to give Ishu the stuff for Sargi. She doesn't know the meaning of any of it, so Beeji explains it to Ishu while Neelam gives it to her - the karva, clothes, jewellery and food.
Preeto's on the rood thinking about what Beeji said earlier and how she too wants to keep a fast for Rajbeer. Ishu arrives, and asks Preeto what she's thinking about. She replies she was thinking about designs and colour combinations. Ishu asks her why she's lying when she can't, and tell her to say what she's hiding from her? Why has she been looking so lost lately, and why was she asking so many questions about karvachauth? Preeto says she asked only to raise her general knowledge. She further asks Ishu how a girl can stay hungry for a whole day? Isn't it madness? She thinks how she won't be able to stay hungry for a whole day! Ishu tells her that that's why people in love are considered mad. There's something different about being in love, sometimes you pray to God for his long life, and at times you fight with God for him.. Preeto thinks to herself that she too loves Rajbeer and want to keep a fast for him, but how will she do it without anyone noticing it?
Gagandeep's making tea for Beeji while Beeji, Meeta, Ishu and Preeto are talking about what a great husband he is. Beeji says she prays she gets him as her husband in every life. They hear a sound from the kitchen, and Beeji goes to help Gagandeep. The girls look at them, and think how much they love eachother. Ishu says she's seen their love grow stronger and stronger after marriage, and she hopes the same applies for her and Dhruv after marriage. Preeto says she too want the same thing. For her obviously ;)
Gagandeep feeds Beeji. Beeji tells the girls to sit down and eat too. She asks Meeta why she's upset. Meeta tells her she waits for this day every year, hoping that she'll keep the fast that year. She's practized a few times, but every time she got hungry again by the afternoon and she would eat something. Maybe that's why God hasn't made anyone for her? Beeji tells her that she'll be able to keep a fast this year if she keeps it from heart. She also tells Ishu to see to that Meeta doesn't eat anything. Beeji feed Meeta sargi. Preeto thinks how no one's asking her to eat, and how she'll be able to start her fast.
