The episode starts where it ended yesterday, with both Rajbeer and Preeto crying. Rajbeer comes and apologizes to Preeto right away, but she ignores him. After he leaves, she talks to God about how everything changes so fast - one moment you think everything will work out, and the next moment it feels like everything's finished. She worries about what to do next. She opens her eyes, and sees Jassi in front of her. Jassi tells her she came to give something to Jogi, but Dhruv told her Preeto was there too, so she came to meet her. Jassi asks her why she looks upset, and Preeto brushes it off, and changes the topic by asking her if she or any friend of hers need a tailor. Jassi says no, but ask her what the need is to work more then she already is? There's so much work pending, and probably lots of planning needed before Ishu's wedding. Preeto tells her that she needs more work for Ishu's wedding only. She explains the situation to Jassi, and Jassi tells her how she wish she could have done more for her. She only has 50 000 rupees, but knows that Preeto can make that into alot more money using her talent. She suggests Preeto to sew the clothes for the relatives herself! Preeto and Jassi plans to meet at the market to do the shopping the same day.
Preeto comes home, and Beeji asks her why she's home so early, and if she's managed to get the money today. Preeto tells her she got 50 000 rupees, and not 1 lakh and explains her mother that she'll sew the clothes herself. Meeta says it's a good idea! Beeji asks her how she'll get time for all of that, but both Preeto and Meeta calmes Beeji by saying they'll handle it. Ishu too joins in to help, and Beeji offers to help as well. Preeto gets a call from Jassi and leaves.
At the shop, Preeto reacts at the prizes, but Jassi tells her to focus on the designs so that she can make her own later on. She gives Preeto her phone so that she can secretly take photos of the designs she like.
Preeto bumps into Neelam, and Neelam asks her if she got a job there. Jassi comes and tells her Preeto came with her. Neelam tells Preeto she was about to come to her house to invite them for the Dusshera party, and tells Preeto to bring her entire family. She invites Jassi too.
At home, Beeji says she doesn't feel like going. She's heard of Dussehra mela's, what's the party for? Meeta too says she's already used two of her nnew suits, and has to save the remaining two new ones for upcoming functions. Ishu too says she feels uncomfortable among all the high society people. Preeto tells them all they should go since Neelam so lovingly invited them. She convinces them to go.
The girls and Beeji arrive at the party, looking quite lost as the house looks more like a club house then a dussehra puja as they had expected. Neelam comes and welcomes them in. She introduces them to everyone present, in a demeaning sort of way. She even pretends to forget Ishu's name. Beeji hands her some sweets, but Neelam tells them she's on a liquid diet so she can't have any. She tells them to feel at home, and leaves to talk to someone else. They all go and sit down feeling quite odd. Preeto tries to explain to cheer up, especially infront of Neelam. Preeto asks the waiter for something to drink, and turns out he has only wine right then. He says he'll bring cold drinks though.
Neelam thinks to herself that soon the Dhillon family's smiles will turn into tears. A girl named Sasha comes and meets Neelam. She introduces her to everyone, lastly to the Dhillon's. Sasha doesn't behave really friendly while saying hi to them, and Neelam continues by introducing her as Dhruv's best friend, and the one she wanted to be her daughter-in-law. She also adds that she's happy since her son's happy though. Sasha says she's happy cause Neelam's happy 😆 Neelam and Sasha hug and they continue their introduction round.. Bani asks why Sasha's being introduced to everyone when Ishu should be.
The waiter comes with their cold drinks, and Bani spills on Preeto while taking a glass. She goes to the washroom to clean her dress, when she overhears Sasha and Neelam talking about Ishu and how she doesn't have any class. Neelam also tells Sasha that even though she's letting the roka happen, but will never let the wedding take place. After all she's his mother and has to take care of him.
My views
To be honest, I'm glad the story's going a little forward now. I was tired of the I'm not talking, but crying alone scenes. The episode wasn't that much of a watch, with lots of typical things happening, but nevertheless, now that Preeto knows the truth, I'm hoping for some good scenes within this week :)
The supporting cast of this show's been shaped and used really well! 👍🏼
