There are so many fond memories. I don't know where to start from. But I attended an awards ceremony recently where I met Dharmendra ji. Producer of my show – Preeto – Dheeraj ji introduced me to the mega star and he embraced and blessed me. I was ecstatic to meet the man. It is one moment that I will never forget in my life. It is always good to meet people whom you admire and idolise in life. These are experiences that help you grow professionally and personally in life.
Furthermore, when it comes to acting it happened by chance. I am from Kolhapur and my dad was a film exhibitor. So I grew up watching movies. But taking up acting as a profession never crossed my mind. But I always had that filmy keeda in me. After I finished my college in Pune I took up editing and graphic designing as my profession. I went to Dubai to work and the company where I worked conducted Dubai Fashion Week. I was the only Indian to walk the ramp in Dubai Fashion Week for two years in a row. Then I came back to India and decided to take up acting as my profession. I have never had any professional acting training. Mein bus dekh dekh kar sikh gaya.
It's not that I work all the time. My other passion is photography and whenever at leisure I click photos. I have two beautiful nieces who are always ready to pose for me. Furthermore, I work in daily soaps which tends to make you tired and stressed and that shows on your face. I don't want that to happen as you should always look fresh and energised every single time the director says action. So I hit the gym regularly and try to keep myself as fit and healthy as possible.
As a professional I want to do variety of roles in both TV and films. I want to challenge myself as an actor and I want to explore my abilities to the core. I want to thank all my fans for all the love and support and I want them to keep supporting and appreciating my work in the future as well.
