The Episode begins with Preeto accusing Rajbeer of cheating and both of them ending up lost in each other's eyes. The others notice this and start singing "Aankhon hi aankhon mein ishara ho gaya". This breaks their trance. Beeji enters the scene and Preeto asks why is she still awake. She says that she couldn't sleep with all the noise the kids were making. So the boys agree that they are getting late and must leave. Beeji asks them to continue without making much noise but Jogi says that they were anyways planning to leave when she came. Preeto and Beeiji rush inside to get rajma for jassi. The 3 couples (Dhruv-Ishu, Jogi-Jassi, Pankaj-Meeta) are talking to each other and Rajbeer kind of feels out of place. Dhruv tells Ishu that he doesn't like to leave her and go and will ask his mom to fix the wedding date directly instead of roka. He asks her if she is coming to the party at his place the next day. She replies that girls are not supposed to come to her in-laws' before marriage. Just then Preeto and beeji return. Rajbeer thanks Preeto for the good food. She says that he is thanking the wrong person, as Meeta, Beeji and Ishu are the ones who cooked and she doesn't even know to make a descent tea. So he says that it was her who had invited him. So he has to thank her. Meeta asks Pankaj about his new job. He says he'll be joining in the coming week and asks her out for a movie. She agrees but on the condition that it has to be a horror one.
After all leave, Beeji asks the girls to sleep as they have a busy day coming. She and Ishu gets emotional as it's a big day.
The next day, Beeji is worried about what to take while going to the Ahluwalia's. Preeto suggests that they take Punjab with them as it's the thing that Dhruv's parents miss the most when they are abroad. Beeji and Meeta are confused. Preeto explains that Meeta would prepare sooji ka halwa, Beeji would prepare matri and Ishu, peeniya. She would go to market and get some namkeen and sweets which are Amritsar's speciality. Beeji agrees to this.
At Dhruv's place. Rajbeer , Dhruv and his dad are at the dining table while his mom is looking into the preparations. Dhruv tells Rajbeer about how excited his mom is for him. She in turn comments that everything has to be perfect as the Dhillons have to know what kind of family they are marrying their daughter. Rajbeer asks Dhruv about who all are coming from Ishu's house. Dhruv mentions all names except Preeto's and teases him. And then tells that even she would come. Rajbeer asks how would they come. He says that he doesn't know that. Rajbeer thinks of something and smiles.
Meeta is getting ready for the party. Ishu helps her. They see Preeto too dressing up and start teasing her as for whom is she dressing up so much. Preeto asks whom would she dress up for and they both tell Rajbeer's name and tease her more. Beeji comes there to see if they are ready as they might miss the bus. The girls make faces when they hear about bus and say that they should go by an auto. Beeji says that it would cost them too much as they have to take 2 autos. Preeto tells that it's a big day for all of them and they should compromise atleast on this day. Beeji agrees. Ishu goes to check on Bani. She is lying on the bed and remembering how her friends insulted her and also the ladies' talk at gurudwara. She tells Ishu that she wont be going to the party as she cant bear any more insults about her father being a darban. Ishu says that she's sure that Dhruv wouldn't let her dad or her family be insulted at his place.
Preeto, Meeta, Beeji , Masterji and mamaji are leaving for the party. Beeji asks Ishu to take care of herself and Bani and Sonu. They don't find an auto for a long time and Beeji again suggests that a bus would be a better option. The girls again argue that do not want to go by bus.
Ishu is worried that Sonu is not home yet after her exams. Bani says maybe she is discussing her paper.
The family is just about to leave for the bus stop after waiting for long when a car stops before them. Its Rajbeer and he says that he has come to pick them up. All are happy and Meeta blurts out that it was good that he came. Preeto silences her. One by one all get into the car. Preeto says there's no place for her. Rajbeer tells that she is very small and can fit in anywhere. She replies back that he himself is as big as an elephant and needs place of 4 ppl. She says that she would come on her luna. Rajbeer comments that her hair would turn messy. She says she would catch a bus. He replies that her dress would get spoilt, but she can go ahead if she wants to. Finally she squeezes in. Rajbeer smiles and adjusts his rear view mirror to catch a glance of Preeto. She makes a face.
