Rajbeer and Dhruv come with Jogi and Meeta soon comes to tell them the food is almost ready and Kanwal has started the tandoor and soon they can eat. She tells them while they wait she can tell them the story of a movie she just heard. Preeto doesn't like horror stories so she excuses herself. Jassi on the other hand listens intently since she loves horror stories. Rajbeer leaves after a while to follow Preeto on pretext of getting water.
Preeto goes down and asks Kanwal if there are such thing as ghosts. Kanwal says they do exists and starts narrating a story about a time but Preeto interrupts and tells Kanwal that she doesn't want to hear anything. Kanwal shakes her head calling Preeto a scaredy cat and tells her to keep an eye on the tandoor. Preeto stirs the coal in the pot murmuring as her mother leaves her that there is no such thing as ghosts. Rajbeer comes from behind and takes her name causing her to jump.
She sees Rajbeer and is upset at him for giving him a start. She asks him what he wants and he tells her water. She goes to give him water and crosses to the other side of the room, with Rajbeer following close. The lights go off and the glass falls form Preeto's hand startling her and she turns to Rajbeer and embraces him in fright. Rajbeer is taken aback but holds his arms around Preeto.
Preeto pulls away later feeling embarrassed and apologizes to Rajbeer. The light comes on and Kanwla asks Preeto if something fell, and Preeto says it was just the glass. She tells Kanwal the tandoor is ready and Kanwal comes. She starts making the bread, and asks Rajbeer to sit. Rajbeer looks at Preeto and they both exchange nervous glance.
Kanwal then asks Rajbeer that his time off is ending soon, and asks him if he enjoyed his time off. Rajbeer looks at Preeto and says that it was truly a memorable time off and he won't forget it. Kanwal agrees since two of his friends are tied in a relationship. She says that maybe next it will be his turn. Rajbeer changes the topic and tells Kanwal that he's never eaten food made in a tandoor before. Kanwal says it's the best as the taste is different. She makes the roti and serves it to Rajbeer. He hesitates so Kanwal sits and tells him not to be shy and feeds him with his own hand.
Rajbeer is touched and Kanwal tells them that she used to feed her girls like that only when they were young. Rajbeer looks at Preeto who smiles at him. Kanwal touches his cheek and says that this feels like old times and like she's feeding her own son. Rajbeer is overwhelmed by the warmth from Kanwal and eats as he looks at Kanwal, who continues to feed him.
Neelam and Ryan (its Ryan and not Rai, sorry), show their true colors expressing their displeasure in letting Ishu be their daughter in law. Neelam says that saying no right out would have earned them Dhruv's displeasure and she knows how to handle Dhruv's latest obsession. She says she doesn't like a decor matching her style then why will she marry her son with a family who doesn't meet their standards. She tells her husband that she has a plan.
Preeto goes to call the rest down for food and scares Meeta in the process by sneaking up from behind her. She tells them to head down and calls Sonu and Bani as well.
Neelam calls Dhruv as they sit on the dining table and asks to speak to Kanwal and tells them to come home tomorrow since their priest is leaving town and she wants to settle the date for the roka. Kanwal agrees and Jogi congratulates Kanwal. Gagan also comes home by the time everyone is seated on the table. He says he will wash-up and come soon. Bani and Sonu come, and Gagan looks at Bani but she doesn't say anything to him and walks away. Preeto is upset but tells her father to wash up soon. Gagan leaves. Sonu comes and sits next to Rajbeer.. When Gagan comes back Kanwal tells him about Neelam's call.
Jogi compliments the food and says there's nothing like eating food like this. Meeta suggests staying up late and playing since it is rare that they get together like this. Gagan excuses himself saying that he's tired and will retire earlier and tells Kanwal that she should retire early too since they have to head out tomorrow to go see Dhruv's parents. Sonu and Bani aren't allowed to stay up late either because of school/college next day. Meeta says that then they will play boys versus girls. Dhruv wonders that there are not enough boys and Meeta says Pankaj will be here later and he will join in.
They all agree and Preeto continues to serve food and puts more dal on Rajbeer's plate but he grabs her hand to stop her and they both look at each other, uncomfortable as Rajbeer lets go of Preeto's hand.
Later they play Antakshari and Jogi sings and Jassi blushes, then Ishu sings and everyone teases Dhruv. As the game progresses, Jogi and Jassi even get up to dance on one song. Pankaj comes in and Rajbeer shakes his hand and asks him to join in. He takes a seat and watches Meeta while Rajbeer watches Preeto. Later Rajbeer sings a song and Preeto accuses him of cheating. Preeto rises and points her finger at Rajbeer for cheating and Rajbeer takes her hand telling her not to point at him.
