Preeto is happy to see Jogi and Jassi and hugs Jassi. She quietly greets Rajbeer as well. Preeto asks for Dhruv and Jassi tells her he's with Ishu. He says wherever Dhruv he spreads his good humor. Jassi says that Rajbeer and Dhruv's friendship still amuses her as Dhruv is so outgoing and Rajbeer is so serious most of the time. Rajbeer smiles, and Preeto smiles at him.
Jassi asks Preeto about her father and she becomes uncomfortable and says he's getting ready for work. She asks them to come in and Kanwal asks breakfast to be served.
The others laugh and talk and Rajbeer notices that while Preeto smiles her mind is distracted and she looks uncomfortable. Gagan comes down and greets everyone and then excuses himself for work. Kanwal walks him out and Preeto watches him leave. She too walks away from the crowd, excusing herself on pretense of work, with Rajbeer noticing that Preeto feels ill at ease.
As she gathers some clothes Preeto is lost in thought, and Rajbeer interrupts her thoughts asking her why she walked away. He asks her if she is still worried about last night. Preeto says she hasn't thought about las night. Rajbeer goes to sit in front of Preeot and asks her that it doesn't look like that. He asks her what is bothering her, and requests her ot tell him the truth. Preeto confides in Rajbeer about her father.
Rajbeer tells Preeto it is best that everyone knows the truth now. He tells her that soon the ruth will come out and now the picture also was published. He tells her its better than outsiders spreading the news, she informs her family. He tells her that her family will relize that he did it for their happiness and he's sure Preeto will explain it to them well. Preeto nods, and says she will explain and talk to her mom the first chance she gets.
She doesn't get the chance as Kanwal finds out and and comes down with the newspaper. She's unable to tell the truth to Preeto and makes an excuse that her father forgot the paper. Preeto tells her he must have left for her to read. Kanwal says she didn't read and will go read. Preeto understands that her mother knows the truth. Kanwal leaves and Preeto tries to go after her but Rajbeer tells her to give her mother time to process the news and then talk tpo her otherwise she won't hear anything or understand anything as this truth is too big for her.
Ishu comes to check on Preeto and wonders what happened, Rajbeer answers for Preeto and says she's still upset about last night. IShu tells her to forget it all and come sit with her friends. She requests Rajbeer too and they both go with Ishu.
Kanwal goes to her room and closes the door and cries. She remembers her husband sharing hte news of his jobs and doing so much for him. She feels guilty that she's the reason ehr husband was forced to find a job like that because she kept harping on how their income was so lo. She cries and blames herself.
Jogi and Jassi talk about the part Dhruv, Preeto and Rajbeer played in bringing them together. Jogi says if they ever need their help all they have to do is ask. Jassi says she hopes they never run into problems like that. Dhruv says for him his parents will be happy in his happiness. Meeta says Ishu is lucky and Dhruv says he's the lucky one that he's got not only Ishu but her loving family.
Jogi and Jassi realize it's getting late and decide to head out. Dhruv asks Ishu if he can go and she says yes. Dhruv says she should have told him to stay even though just for him. Jogi teases and they all take their leave. Ishu and Meeta walk them to the door. Rajbeer stays back for a moment with Preeto and tells her to take care of her mom. Preeto nods gratefull and watches Rajbeer leave.
Bani is in college and in the canteen she gets taunted by her classmates as they show her Gagan's photo in the newspaper, since she lied earlier about her father travelling everywhere. Bani is upset.
Preeto walks into her mom's room and Kanwal hides her tears. Preeto asks Kanwal if she was crying. Kanwal says she is allowed to cry as it clears the eyes. Preeto says that it also unburdens the heart. She asks Kanwal if she read the newspaper. Kanwal says she did and no good personal ads have been posted. Preeto says that Gagan's photo has been published thought. Kanwal is surprised that Preeto knows and she hugs Preeto.
She tells Preeto not to worry and tells Preeto that today she's proud of her husband that he didn't think that any job was beneath him or didn't complain but worked hard to earn his family's happiness. Kanwal tells Preeto that she can let everyone know and they won't hide this matter. She tells Preeto that she's lucky to hae such a loving husband and says that her husband is her hero. Preeto says that he's a hero to all of them, and hugs her mother.
