Yes...He should Apologize since he is tryying to remove Bad, corrupt pratices from a Country like INDIA...which is ruled by the Corrupt people...

This is the problem with us...We enjoy getting exploited...when someone tries to Save us and help us in getting a better safe and Happy Life ...We ask him to Apologize...

I will say ,

The content of the Show is amazing , its not New issues that are being shown on television , its just that the audience are watching because of a Big time Celebrity is presenting the issues to them , Otherwise other news channels and reporters like Barkha Dutt have brought light to these issues and MANY more issues which will be shown in the show In coming days

- Only reason People are watching this show Satyamev is cause of Aamir Khan , I guess it is more entertaining to watch a Celebrity then watch a reporter or regular host talk about issues. ( kinda Sad but true )

- And should Aamir be given credit for what he is Doing . yes , at least One celebrity is trying to show people what is happening in society when society overlooks what is being shown on New channels and flashed on Newspaper headlines.

- Should Aamir be given a Noble Peace prize . No thats a Joke. Many activist devoted their lives to trying to create a change . and one man who is popular being of his acting and dancing should over shine the work they put in for years. in a race for a noble prize . his name should be behind theirs.

- Should Aamir apologize for shown this.. No , no , no , no ... if the same content is being show on other new stations, newpapers . why should he apologize. its been there, done that type of situation .

AND I was Born and raised in US . but i still Knew about the issues he has been talking about , Why cuz my mother reads the indian papers and we have Indian channels on cable. So the Information was always there , its just the audience choice to turn the cheek .

"Even doctors know how true they are to themselves when they ask Amir to apologize...he should not and he will never,it is the doctors who should apologize for bringing the profession to such a level where people now fear doctors rather than worship them."
excuse me. which profession dsnt have mal practises going on? it cannot be generalised. teh apology is being demanded for the wrong impressions being given out to society that such things are expected and many doctors are doin git. while i cannot deny the fact they exist but the impact his program has had will make biased public more biased even against the doctors who are not doing any malpractises. it may have consequences making normal practice difficult which even we cannot maine right now.
it is easy to become judgmental about a profession by viewing things on surface... and indian public is way too impressionable and majority of it takes things on face value.

@earth1978

In his programme he showed good doctors also and only highlighted certain medical malpractices. He never said all doctors are thugs or something. And for your information Aamir has received support in this matter from 3 different doctors' associations and NGOs working on health issues.

It is people's notion if they think his show will make people biased. Making people aware of malpractices does not mean insulting the profession.

It is people's problem if they cry foul or feel insulted instead of cleaning mess in their profession.

@Lord Vikrant

He highlighted caste discrimination across all religions -not just one. And what he showed was truth! So why the hell should he apologise for exposing reality?

I am amused and surprised at the kind of comments you make!

Casteism is root cause of several problems - from poverty to threatening social cohesion. So many riots also happened only due to this.

Warning you annika - don't raise that spectre again, else we'll have someone firing off inane "articles" with zero logic and preaching "why untouchability is an absolutely desirable practice". Some people are best ignored - earthy matters that supposedly defend doctors, but are not practicing; only see personal attacks everywhere; and lordly matters that pontificate and champion dogmatic thinking are most prominent of those best avoided.
