{ Satrangi Sasural 7.1.15 Written Update }

The episode starts with Arushi arriving at the station and asking why her brother Girish has been locked up. The inspector asks her to be patient while Arushi nervously complies. She overhears Sarthi narrating his statement regarding Vihaan's attack to one of the inspectors and she calls out to him. Sarthi goes to her and tells her that the polica have caught whoever was behind Vihaan's attack; leaving Arushi shocked after seeing Girish in the lock up after being convicted for Vihaan's attack. Girish calls her didi while Sarthi is confused. Arushi reprimands Girish and angrily asks him if he is behind the attack but Girish stands silent. Sarthi asks Arushi if Girish is her brother and gets tensed. When she says yes, Sarthi is left devastated at his plight.

At the hospital, the doctor asks everyone to leave the room so that Vihaan can rest properly. Narmada insists on staying back with him just in case of anything and they all agree. Vihaan bids goodbye to the family and they leave. Sarthi informs Vihaan about everything on the phone who is left stunned and shocked too. He tells him what had happened and asks Sarthi to hand over the phone to the inspector. Vihaan asks the inspector to release Girish because he isn't the culprit behind the attack but the inspector says that the FIR has been filed and the matter is out of their hands now. Vihaan tells Sarthi to get Girish released by any means while Sarthi is boggled. Vihaan commands Sarthi to get Girish released and home within an hour and Sarthi complies. Vihaan says that he can't do this to Arushi's brother.

Arushi tells Dada ji that she would lend some money along with the jewelry in order to get Girish out of jail but Dada ji stands firm and angry stating that Girish deserves whatever is happening to him. Arushi's mother tells Arushi that together with Girish, she should also apologize to Vihaan. Arushi asks her how she'll be able to face Vihaan after knowing Girish did all this. Gattu and Girish walk in saying that only the weak apologize. Prahlad welcomes him while Arushi, her mother and Dada ji are enraged. Gattu tells everyone that he got Girish out on bail. Prahlad asks Mini to get some water for Gattu but he says it isn't need as he's about to leave. Arushi walks up to Girsh and slaps him asking him why he beat up Vihaan. Gattu stands shocked and Girish asks Arushi to get an explanation from Vihaan. He is adamant and says that he won't tell anything and even if he is given a second chance then he will beat up Vihaan again. He also says that if he was the one at fault then the police would have never released him. He leaves angrily and doesn't listen to Arushi when she calls out to him. Gattu goes to Arushi and tells her that she's siding with Vihaan but not her own brother. He asks her if her brother means anything to her or not. He leaves the house while Arushi is tensed.

Vihaan sees Narmada taking care of him and not eating so he purposely emotionally blackmails her to go to the canteen to get something for herself to eat. Narmada complies and leaves. Arushi is shown on the terrace in tears; she gets Vihaan's call but disconnects the call thinking that she can't pick up the phone because she has no more left to say to him after her own brother is responsible for the terrible state he is in. Vihaan is tensed and thinks that she should pick up the phone even once so that he can explain if he knew Girish was her brother then he would have never done what he did because he loves her.

The next morning, the doctor is informed by granny about Vihaan's doctor, Devika Seth and assures the doctor that Vihaan is in very good hands. The family see the doctor who;s a lady and start praising her and imagining her as Vihaan's would be wife. The doctor starts checking up on Vihaan and suggests some physiotherapy exercises. On granny's insistence, the doctor agrees to discharge him. The family immensely admire her as she is very polite to them. She tells him that someone should be by Vihaan 24 hours a day and he shouldn't be under any kind of stress. She advises them to keep the mood around him light, positive and happy for quick recovery. The mothers love her even more after she shows her care and concern for Vihaan.

The mothers take care and pamper Vihaan. He is embarrassed when they mention that they will assist him in wearing his T-Shirt. Vihaan is relieved when he sees Sarthi walking in and he tells them mothers that he'll tell Sarthi to help him. He goes to his room while Sarthi follows. Sarthi talks about the encounter with Girish and Vihaan vents out his anger at him saying that it was just revenge from Girish which elevated the matter leading to Arushi not picking up the phone. Sarthi is tensed when Vihaan says that he hurt him today. Sarthi apologizes but Vihaan says he wants to be along for some time. He stays tensed when Sarthi leaves. He sees newspaper headlines and says that Diwali Kudi saved the life of her fan and is shocked as he remembers Arushi rushing through the hospital ballistic to save his life. He connect the dots and thinks whether Diwali Kudi is Arushi herself as he starts finding resemblance with their meetings and the articles. He calls the editor and tries to confirm from him. He tells the editor as per the paper it states that Diwali Kudi saved his life but the one who saved his life was Arushi. The editor smiles and tells him even after not revealing anything to him, he himself being a true fan finally found out that Diwali Kudi is none other than Arushi. Vihaan is left stunned.

Rosy advises Arushi to call Vihaan because only talking would sort things out and she is also not at fault for anything that happened. Rosy calls Vihaan while Arushi is still nervous about talking to him. Vihaan's phone is on the nightstand which he has a difficulty reaching due to his injuries. While he tries getting the phone, it falls to the ground and the battery comes out, thus, switching off the phone. Arushi is tensed after getting a busy tone and wonders why Vihaan cancelled the call. Vihaan reassembles his phone again and wonders if Arushi already knows that Girish was only taking revenge after Manohar did it first. He thinks that she is very angry and the screen freezes on both their faces as they think the other is angry.

Precap: The Bengali mother tells grnny, that Dilwali Kudi is highly unlucky for him, and they shall not let him meet her. Granny is tensed. Vihaan goes to meet arushi, and tries to propose to her. Meanwhile, Girish sees the two of them together and gets angry. Vihaan and Arushi are tensed.
