- The lady is in Sati's office, crying. Sati asks her to tell everything. So she tells the whole story of her daughter, Usha.
- Their family is a poor one from a small village. Usha's father had a small store. One day, they found out that Usha's dad had cancer and all their savings from his store went into his treatment. They were starting to become desperate. One day, a relationship offer came for usha from a big and wealthy family. they were overjoyed. They married Usha with that man. After Usha's marriage, her father-in-law suddenly gets a heart attack and dies. The mother-in-law starts blaming Usha for this, that she is a very bad luck and destroyed the family as soon as she set foot in the house. The husband of Usha also sides with his mother and harasses her. They both abuse her everyday, and start saying that she didnt even bring enough dowry. The husband starts drinking and beating her up. She is traumatized. Eight months later, she finds out that she is pregnant but because of so much trauma, she has a miscarriage. Her in-laws become even worse. Usha tells her mom everything so her mom tries to explain to Usha's husband not to do that but he doesnt agree and says that she always fights with his mother and he cannot tolerate that. That night, her mom gets a call that Usha tried to commit suicide by hanging herself. But by the time her mom reaches the hospital where Usha was, Usha had died.
- Sati is shocked and tell that it was really bad of them and that she ill make sure she gets proof of them doing these things and give them the wort possible punishment. The mom says that other lawyers told her that its just a suicide case. Sati says its not because Usha was forced to it. That is even worse than murder. She promisis the mom that justice will be done. The mom says thank you and leaves. Priya and Smriti tell Sati that she shouldnt have promised that woman. Sati says that she knows its going to be extremely difficult so they should start investigating today and they all should put in the effort.
- Sati goes to another lawyer and he tells her that she shouldnt have taken the case because its extremely hard to win it. Sati says its not impossible and she asks permission from him to start investigating and asks for some files. He gives it to her. On her ay out, Siddarth calls her on her mobile. She doesnt pick up. On the other side, Siddarth is talking to his assistant askiny why she isnt picking up. The assistant advises him to either go to her house or try to bring her to a place where she cannot ignore him. He likes the idea.
- Sati goes to the house of Usha's mother. The mother tells her that Ush was only 20 years old. Sati asks her why she didnt go to the police while Usha was still alive. the mother says that they tought it was just a bad time and it would go away. But it didnt. The brother says he went after Usha's death to write an FIR. Sati says she will get more info with that FIR. Then she says that she will take the case and give justice to them and warns the mother that during the course of the case, many accusations will be brought upon them but they should never make a move without first consulting her. Sati tells them to trust in God and in her.
