Are Avika and Manish just friends?
Every one knows how Avika Gor and Manish Raisanghan, who have been paired opposite each other in the show 'Sasural Simar Ka', initially had apprehensions if they will be able to pull the husband-wife character together since there was an 18-year-age difference between them.
Manish had even expressed hesitation to romance such a young girl on the show. But with time, they developed a perfect professional relationship, so much so that they are now rumoured to be a couple.

Avika and Manish have been spotted together at most social dos, and the latter is said to be quite protective about her. They even share common interests " they have co-written and directed three short films together. If she was his muse for photography, he was there when she was completing her education. Avika, in fact, also learns Reiki from Manish's teacher.
When contacted about their friendship, Manish said, "I am looking for an arranged marriage. I don't deny that she is my best friend. I was protective about her initially when she was younger. Yes, we share many common interests together, like our love for direction. I felt that she was a kid earlier and needed to be guided with love and protection. But nothing beyond that. She is almost 20 years younger to me, so I can't marry or date a lady so young."
Avika said, "We have maintained our friendship in a dignified way till now. We are good friends and will always be, but I have no intention to date Manish."
