Part 4: "I wanted to be your wife, not the deal!"

Days passed and friends decided to go out for fun... they hired a bus and visited many places in London.. When it came to go home, every one boarded the bus. Just when Rolisss was about to climb, the bus moved and she fell down. All came to her and Sid shouted at the driver. Prem said him to calm down and take Roli to hospital. Doctor says she's fine but needs complete bed rest coz it was a severe sprain. All came home. Roli was coming holding Simar's hand but became unbalance and was about to fall, but Sid supports her. They had a eyelock till Simar cleared her throat. Sid took her to room and made her sit on bed.

Sid: u want something?

Roli: ah...

Sid: juice?

Roli: I...

Sid: Let me bring it...

He leaves.

Roli confused.

Night

Roli opens her eyes and sees Sid sitting on the table, keeping her head on the bed, beside her, sleeping. She got up tried to get off the bed when Sid's sleep got disturbed.

Sid: what?

Roli: wo...

Sid: ya... what?

Roli: washroom...

Sid: I'll take u...

He helps her and she gets off the bed but could nt walk. It was paining.

Roli: aaahhh!!!!!!!!its paining... I can't walk!

Sid: Roli.. At least try...

Roli: I can't!

Sid thinks something and holds her in arms and takes to the washroom.

Sid: knock when u r finished... I am waiting outside...

Sid again picks her in arms when she comes out and puts on the bed. Roli tells her to sleep promising she would wake him up when she need something. Sid takes a pillow and lies on the sofa.

Roli{in mind}: I can't understand what is the truth... what Siddhantji is doing today that, or what he did 3 years back?? If he loved me... Then why couldn't he wait?? His 1 decision, spoiled everything. If he had bothered to wait, then the situation could have been something else today... Do u really love me? Or you are just doing all this , coz u want to show Didi and jiju that u care for me and I don't????

She closes her eyes. Sid opens his.

Sid{in mind}: I know Roli u don't trust me today.. You must be confused, is it true, false or... strange... but.. it's all true! I... I really care for u... and Believe me, I wanted to wait, but it could have been very late... I don't just want to be near you, but with you Roli... but I cant tell you the truth also...I know you still love me, and always be.. but u will never express... Because perhaps, you will never forgive me!!

Morning

Sid comes inside the room and sees Roli trying to get off from bed.

Sid{going to her}: hi! U cheat... u promised u would...

Roli ignores so he stops..

Sid: u want something?

Roli(in a dim voice): not ur help at least!

Sid: what?

Roli: nothing.

Sid: let me help u...

He bends down.

Roli: don't show ur fake concern!

Sid: Roli...

Roli: No need to show off Sidji, I can manage!

Sid: Roli, I care for u..

Simar comes to the door.

Roli: Care? Sidji, if you really care for me, then u mustn't have spoiled my life!

Sid: me???

Roli: Yes you.. I also had some dreams... some ambitions. I also wanted to do something, Be something, but ur this decision of marriage, spoiled everything, spoiled my life! And I? I became dependent on u..

Sid: but I have never let u complain, u have got everything u needed...

Both had tears.. Sid turns his face and roli keeps her head on his shoulder crying.

Sid sees Simar coming in with anger. He signals her to go back. She stops. He signals again. She turns and leaves.

Sid: Roli, can u answer my one question?

She stands straight.

Roli: what?

Sid: (facing her) Can we be ever together???

Roli leaves crying.

Simar enters Prem room and sits on bed.

Prem: woaw! What happened?

Simar: premji...

Sid: simar...

Simar: u... (goes to him) why did u stop me? Why didn't let me tell?

Sid: You will not tell her anything Simar!

Simar: but...

Prem: guys guys!! What's the matter?

She tells him everything.

Prem: Sid... this tym Simar is right...

Sid: Prem at least u...

Prem: Sid, if she did not know the truth, then she will Misunderstand u whole life

Sid: And if she really got to know the truth, her whole life will be dependent on me ... which I do not want .

Simar: but Sid...

Sid looks at them smiling; they see them in a proud and loving expression.
