It's party time for the cast of Sasural Simar Ka as the show reaches the milestone of 500 episodes! And to make this commendable achievement even more memorable, all the actors of the show came together for a unique celebration.

Avika Gor, aka Roli, had planned a game wherein the family members had to gift each other. First up was Manoranjan Mausi, who gifted Prem a bright red heart cushion. Prem accepted the gift happily, which he thought stood for the hearts of the whole family.

Then came the turn of Karuna Chachi, who received a gift that suited her best. Uma gave her a packet of chillies and a jar of pickle. Karuna was flattered, as she explained that just as every meal was incomplete without pickle, the Bharadwaj family was incomplete without her

This was one of the coolest gifts exchanged during the celebration. Prem gifted his father Rajendra a pair of sunglasses. While the family thought he looked Dabangg in his glasses, Rajendra made everyone laugh by acting like a blind man.

Then it was time for some brotherly bonding. Shailu gifted his brother Sattu a coffee mug, as Ssumier Pasricha, who plays Sattu, loves drinking coffee on the sets. How considerate!

Though they are fighting for the attention of the same woman, Khushi, on the show, Sankalp and Veeru are on great terms off-screen. This concern was evident when Sankalp gifted Veeru two packs of energy bars, so he could fight Prem and Siddhant better! We like the tongue in cheek gift

Then came the big one. Siddhant had to gift something to Naina, and he chose to give her a diary. The reason behind it was that not only is Naina his secretary, but that the diary would also come in handy for her to write about all the bad times that were about to befall her when Roli comes to know about her and Siddhant

Don't you think Matajilooks a little lost on receiving her gift? That is because her greatest enemy, Khushi, gave her 2 foot rulers and a cellotape. The cellotape was to seal Mataji's lips when she started talking too much, and the rulers were for Mataji to thrash Khushi when she got out of hand

Manoranjan Mausi was very happy as she was getting her gift from Mataji, who knew her best. And in keeping with Manoranjan's obsession with getting decked up, Matajigifted her a year's supply of fancy bindis

It was a good day for Khushi as the Bhardwaj family made her feel welcome for once. Simar gifted her a cute toy flower, which was a hint for Khushi to start living up to her name and start spreading happiness around her. Another tongue in cheek gift, this one

Naina's gift was for Roli, and she chose to give her some strong glue, that could help keep Roli and Siddhant's relationship intact and gave a quick demo. With Naina being the only reason that their marriage can break, the irony of this gift is not lost on us, too

Roli showed that she knew her sister in and out, as she gave Simar her favourite thing in the world,an idol of Matarani. Did Simar like the gift? We'll let the picture do the talking.

After all the gift exchanging, it was time for some song and dance. And with Khushi being a pro at dancing, she took the lead as the ladies of the house showed off their killer desi moves.Not to be outdone by the young ones, Mataji and Manoranjan Mausi also joined in, and showed their bahus how to burn the dance floor.

After jointly cutting the huge cake, the cast got around to feeding cake to each other and hugging everyone in sight. But don't be fooled by this show of decency...

Because the cake feeding soon turned into a cake smearing fest, with the artists using the cake to decorate each others' face. Here we can see the normally civilized Simar smashing cake on Prem's face.The family that plays together, stays together. Prem, Rajendra and Sattu take turns to spread cake on each others' faces.Siddhant had already been attacked with cake once, so he raised his hand defensively as Roli came towards him with cake in her hand. But poor Roli just wanted to feed him some cake.

So the Sasural Simar Ka family celebrated the completion of 500 episodes together, and all of them felt happy and blessed to have each other for company!!!
