It's turn for Roli to fall in love in Sasural Simar Ka!

The storyline of Colors' Sasural Simar Ka might have been written keeping in mind the lead protagonists, Prem (Shoaib Ibrahim) and Simar (Deepika Samson) but guess the present day attention seeker has turned out to be Roli (Avika Gor).

We have heard from sources that the channel isn't happy with the lead actors and their chemistry. Somehow they feel that the two are not able to draw attention from the audience and owing to this the creatives are looking ahead to bring Roli as the central lead.

A source said, "The channel is not too happy with the way Simar-Prem track is developing. In fact they feel that the actors are failing to connect with the viewers hence they are planning to introduce a track wherein Roli will fall in love. The man with whom she will fall in love will be a member of the Bharadwaj house. In all probability he will be one of the sons who was thrown out of the Bhardwaj house a few years ago. Earlier Kinshuk Mahajan who was last seen in Chand Chupa Badal Mein was approached for this role but nothing has been finalized yet".

Looking at the changes being made in the storyline we guess that there are all possibilities for the show to be renamed as Sasural Roli Ka! What say?

okay i dnt knw how to react to this news, i mean first of all putting such a twist into the serial meant the audience never got to see enough of prem-simar chemistry and now they complain that they aren't connecting well with the audience. After executing such a storyline why would the audience be completely drawn to the show? Secondly, if this news is final then roli should fall in love with a guy who actually looks her age. I'm sorry but Kinshuk Mahajan looks rather old for roli so i totally dissagree with him playing the role (no offence intended to Kinshuk fans).

Whatever little chemistry we have seen of prem simar before their wedding was great, if the cv's built upon their chemistry first, it would have done the show a lot of good.

I think the problem is due to multiple factors:

Both the lead actors are really mediocre or even below par in acting and dialog delivery skills - so they have little to work with in the first place
They destroyed the story line so badly and in so many ways that makes recovery very difficult; and it continues to flounder in painful rona dhona scenes. The story just aint there, period.
There is very little compelling, memorable dialogue to keep audience interest.

even roli's character has changed completely. She used to be a bubbly girl who can not stay without watching her favorite daily soaps.

and now she has been shown as copy of Simar, perfect in all things including cooking and arrangements for pooja

I think the channel and creatives have destroyed the show n chemistry btw Prem n Simar themselves.

Firstly, they shouldn't have brought in the pathetic n incomprehensible twist of roli getting married to prem. That itself was enough to make this clear that the show is going to have a downfall n so it happened.

Secondly, roli constantly living in simar's susraal was again a bad idea brought in.

the story started off well enough but the 2 twists made it a crap show. even prem n simar had a lovely chemistry before marriage which has been actually destroyed by the creatives themselves. n lastly, i've heard that the show has been produced by Ekta Kapoor, then what else can u expect from such a lady. out of 100 shows she produces, only 1 turns out to be good enough.

i think its not th actors' fault but the channel, creatives n ekta kapoor.

^^^ this is a Rashmi Sharma show...duhh. Looks like everybody wanna jump into the "Hate-Ekta" bandwagon before looking around to get the facts. 😆

if they are going to take story in this angle then its interesting and yeah i agree with CVs both simar and prem are of no good acting is not at all impressive
