I love watching SGP now a days! especially the mockery of teleserials through JpVm, gauri's story..
Guys, I applaud Suhana for saying it is wrong for Mil to treat Gauri like that but People like Gopi, Pratigya and others do exist in real life. Pratigya and Sandhya are definitely stronger than Gopi in many ways. They are FIRM and not at all disrespectful, which is their speciality (sometimes it is painful to watch though).
We shout 'bravo' when somebody does respond like Suhana did but In such DILs' defence, the reason for not retaliating is not because they are 'weak' but because somehow it is ingrained in their good nature so much that answering back or advising elderly people is total disrespect even when they are wrong. Unable to come up with a firm or proper response, they end being quite sometimes and patient that the elderly person will one day realise on his/her own how wrong they are. In the name of culture or etiquette, they show this to us everyday!
I hope the serial makers realise the impact on young girls and show a reasonable solution. Girls in these serials look like fools or weak characters even though they don't mean to show them like that..
Nice track in SGP, very entertaining!
