Regarding Sona's track...I totally understand her husband's a psycho, but why didn't she go to the police? She's an independent, educated woman, who's lived abroad most of her life. It's hard to believe that she's putting up with abuse.

First of all by her staying in the relationship is not humiliating herself. Just because she is a modern girl, educated girl does not mean that being an a Violent abusive relationship does not happen to her.

Education and rather your from a high class or poor or uneducated or black, white ,, or green has nothing to do with why she is being abused and why she is staying.

PLEASE PLEASE STOP JUDGING her when you have not walked in someone shoe who has been abused like he has. Its all about having a control and fear of someone. Yes he is allowed to leave the house and he could at any point in her day go to the police, but He has mentally scared her so much that she cannot and he has so much control of her that she fears to go and tell anyone about anything related to this. She told her dear friend Ishan but what did he do nothing.

My best friend was in a marriage for over 15 years and for 15 years of her marriage she was being abused. for the longest time we had no idea because it was not physical it was all mental abuse. She was this really outgoing and funny girl and she soon because a homebody . She stopped coming around her old friends in fear of her husband. He would keep taps on her every few minutes. what she ate, what she wore, who she spoke with and how long she talked to them. He would time her on her phone conversations. He would time her when she would go to her parents house. She graduated top of her class. Her family was rich. it had gotten so bad that he would keep an record of when she started her cycle (period) each month and of for some reason she was late even if it was by one day , he would beat her black and blue for hours. He would think she is sleeping with each and every man she sees. SHe was not allowed to look her his cousins because he would think something is going on. He was so crazy person. He would tell her she is ugly, and fat, and stupid, no one would ever believe her at all. He was a lawyer himself. He would beat her up so bad and then sit and cry and tell her how sorry he is and that she made him do that to her. So in her mind it was her actions that was causing him to loose ti. NO matter how hard she tried it was never good enough because he would loose it over the smallest things. Like why the toilet paper as put in the wrong way. She could be asleep. She would wake up from his punches and kicks. She lost 3 of her babies because of his abuse like that.

It was after she gave birth to her little girl. He came home and looked at his daughter and for a second in his mind she looked like someone else. So she started to hit her because he said she had slept with another man and this baby was not hers, it looks nothing like him. The baby looks exactly like his sister and mother. She finally told us her friends and we helped get her out of the house and even out of the country. She is currently living in europe in a really nice live. Her daughter is safe and beautiful and smart.

I told you guys her story so that you stop saying why is she not doing this or that, or the fact that Sona is educated person. Please dont make the person who is in this type of abuse feel even more shame. I am sure there must be someone who is going through this type of abuse who is reading this forum. Please Get help. and reach out to someone you trust...Thank you
