but it just that... Me and my Bro since childhood... used to call my Mom as Tum... at home... we never addressed Mom as tum in front of others... its' always Mummy.. and tame [aap in Hindi]... but at home when we need something ya we do tell her Tum... 😊

and My Dad was very strict for us too... about giving Respect & addressing Mom... we can never shout at her... nor we can ever talk to her in rude tone... was not allowed... I remember I shouted at Mom when I was small [I guess in 3rd or 4th std.] My Dad scolded me very badly... gave punishment too... and warned to never do that again... and then Later on made me realize that I shudn't do that... 😃
