You are right it would have been much better if the Kashyap's just let Suhana and Ishaan just be what they are. It would've been so much nicer to see them trying to re-kindle their love. Imagine those cute scene where Ishaan asks "So what did I used to do to make you laugh" or "when did our romance start". I would have loved to have seen Suhana helping him step by step, like in that conversation... par itni acchi kismat kaha milegi?

That would've been awesome to watch. In a way, doing something like this is also like reliving old situations...just by talking about it, rather than enacting it out.
