Hi Fellow SGPians,
I have been itching to write about our beloved show's journey till date and the future course but couldn't gather the courage to do so thinking may be its too early to predict the life cycle of this show as we should not interpret glitches as the actual course of the show. But the last couple of weeks strengthened my belief and this belief has flagged the green signal to write what I am about to expel.
Most of us might have seen the famous Product Life Cycle graph which depicts how the sales of a product vary with time. During the initial phase everything just ramps up as the craze builds and then it reaches the so called saturation point(u can say HM period) and then it just starts to fizz out as the interest subsides and boredom sets in. I tried to apply the same graph to the life cycle of SGP depicting the quality-of /interest-in the show over a period of time. Here's what I have compiled basically the Life Cycle of SGP:
Reason why I came up with this prediction:
Agreed all things in this world have both good and bad sides to it. In the beginning may be lets say till Suhaana's confession we used to have long bursts of good episodes followed by few bad ones here and there. But the important point to note is that the bad ones were rare.
But recently i.e from the beginning of the BT track this process has just reversed. We have a string of bad episodes and then comes a good one just to release the tension. This in itself is a big sign that the CV's and the makers are running short of ideas or have saturated all the tricks in their bags.
Having said this all is not lost just yet. When a product reaches saturation levels the makers try to sustain with new strategies to maintain the levels. Same applies to our show as well. We still have time on our hands(hopefully) and there are enough tracks left open to correct the current decline and change the course of the above graph and make it look like the below one:

Now guyz we need to start all over again to analyze what is lacking these days in our show and what we need from this show going forward. Let us come up with our own analysis something like a Road Map and then we can send it to the makers. We can talk about the open tracks first and how we want them to end. May be carry on from there.
I am sorry this post might come as a surprise to many as it looks very analytical with graphs and stuff but trust me as SGPians it won't take us a minute to understand what I intend here. Also what I have mentioned here might have been discussed over other threads but I thought it would be good to summarize all of that in one thread before we send it to the makers.
