This entire week, I was on an emotional yo-yo, feeling all sorts of emotions from happiness to sadness to anger.
I was overjoyed to know that Ishaan remembered the name Suhana. He told Ilesh bhaiya that he dreamt of a girl who is called Suhana but who looks like Shashikala - well that's me. Hardly had I taken pleasure in the thought when I realised that this could be a problem. Imagine if he fell in love with Suhana and not Shashikala or vice versa. It wouldn't bode well for me. But Badi maa and dadi explained and made sense of it all. They said this meant he was beginning to remember. That thought brought a dazzling smile to my face.
Every day I look for opportunities to be with Ishaan, talk to him and yes tease him too. Like I called him in office and teased him, when he was getting ready for work, I helped him with his tie and even reminded him to take his wallet and phone. At times, I have caught a look on his face which says he remembers, but that is probably my wishful thinking. More than feeling sorry for myself, I have realised that Ishaan always loved me, even when I had not accepted him. And probably it is my turn to do the same. Maybe it is karma, as I troubled him a lot initially so now he is doing the same. Well, I don't mind it as long as there's the hope that he will get well soon.
Later, I was shocked to know that my new fake name Shashikala is after a famous vamp and not a heroine as Ilesh and Inder bhaiya told me. I was appalled and yelled at them but later when they drew the parallel with Gabbar- as he too was the villain in Sholay, I was cool with it. No wonder Ishaan almost laughed the first time I told him my name. But Ishaan being the goody good boy never laughed on my face as I probably would have. I have begun to appreciate him and his personality much more than before. I have begun noticing the small things he used to do for me. I miss Ishaan badly.
I keep inventing reasons to talk to Ishaan and even made everyone sit up late in the evening, in living room just so that I could talk to Ishaan. I guess all day I have work to keep me busy and family to distract me, but I feel alone in the evenings when I am all alone. I am desperate for Ishaan's company.
Yesterday, my patience almost left me as I accidentally burnt Ishaan's shirt and he in turn said, it was his favourite shirt. I couldn't help myself and yelled how he would know it is his favourite shirt, I mean he can remember something as small as his favourite shirt, but not his wife? This really pushed me over the edge. Earlier too, he remembered the teddy he had gifted me. I mean he remembers everything but me. Why doesn't he remember me? Will he ever remember me? I am in despair.
Do write in with your advice on how to remind Ishaan of our love and marriage at suhana@starplus.in . I have tried everything possible to make him remember, but nothing seems to be working.

Uzma Siddiqui - Hi Suhana i will not ask how are u because i can understand ur pain. the way ishaan is behaving and ignoring you its a most painfull feeling for a wife when husband ignores you but don't lose hope and i know you won't as per radha bua saying your a very brave girl. I have one suggestion now you ignore ishaan in this way he will start thinking now y she is ignoring me what her problem and so on and mite be possible in this way his memory will be.
