KK, the father of his beloved daughter Suhana, who dreamt that one day she will become a grounded woman, who dreamt that she will learn the true value of life and who find true happiness and all this was materialising, step by step. He felt as though he was in ecstasy as soon as he heard that she was expecting. He was elated. His Suhana will become a mother!! How delightful. How comforting to know that his Suhana is enjoying marital bliss! He couldn't wait as he believed his Vidhisha is coming back in the form of his grandchild!! If only that was true!
Badi Mama, Suhana's eldest mother in law, whom she considers very much her own mother. BM gave her all the love and the warmth of her hug to a child who always longed for maternal love. She filled that void in Suhana's life that has existed for years. BM's was only too pleased to learn that Suhana is pregnant. How great she felt knowing that her new daughter will soon become a mother herself. How satisfying to see her settled in her home. Little did she know how tragic reality was!
Ishaan, Suhana's other half. He is the most sweetest, loving, caring, giving, sharing, thoughtful and understanding husband. He never thought that a girl like Suhana could be his wife. To begin with he couldn't believe his good fortune as she became his wife. He fulfills Suhana's every whim as he only wants to see her happy. He never wanted much in life. A simple beautiful life with this lady love...thats all! He too was at the thought of becoming a father. Life seemed so beautiful, he had everything he could've asked for....an enchanting life partner, an adoring family and now...he will be a parent. He will be a father!! How joyful! How intoxicating was such great feelings that his hidden wishes began to fly. Such a shame he flew too high, away from reality.
Suhana, a lively, vibrant, beautiful and honest girl. Her life before marriage was full of materialistic comfort. She had everything that money could buy exept for a big family and an adoring husband. Her ideas of life has changed ineed. After marriage, she has learnt that "all that shine isn't gold"(her mother Vidhisha's words). She's evolving, slowly and steadily. Her happiness could count no boundaries when she was told that she will have a baby soon. Never did she think that one day she would grow up so much that somebody will call her "Mom". What a splendid thought. She drowned herself in the dreams of her forthcoming child....she knitted away in her thoughts of her desires. How lucky she felt to have so much love and gaiety. For her life was bliss. How heavenly was the idea of motherhood. So unfortunate that she was cheated, once again....this time the gravest one of all....oh how painful it is to know that motherhood is still a dream and yet to become a reality.
How all these indviduals began to dream and and rejoice in the idea of Sushaan becoming parents, how wonderful was it to know a little child will be in their arms.....oh how the dreams flew!
A moment of truth changed everything. Suddenly their dreams became their nightmares.....oh how shattering the truth is. How cruel life is....one can always dream but they don't always come true. They must get through this, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand...all as one. They will get through this!
