@shounak...gr8 post buddy👏...u almost managed to bring tears in ma eyes..but nowhere did u miss the Shounak effect..yeah Shounak effect.😆.the talent of speaking whats on ur mind..gud or bad,happy or sad...with a touch of humour that wud get ur point across and also make the other person smile..believe me its only u who can do that...atleast among the people whom i hv known..

ummm...i joined the forum on 27 March last year....n i remember the date so well....arrey afterall it was my independence day na😆...it was actually the day of my last board exam...my school life was ending so was a bit sad...but was happy that i no more need to sit for the school exams hehe😆....and although i had been visiting the forums from sometime before...i hadn't joined in yet cz i wanted to concentrate on ma studies...and then i finally signed up for india forums...

i had already fallen in love with SGP...and i visited the forum...it was quite inactive then and i left without making ma presence felt here...i was there at the DID forum...making posts,friends..having fun..but wud often turn to this forum to know if something new was happening here...and then i finally joined this forum right before the JEE exam..asking abt the repeat timings of the show...Sanayaa,Vipu,Shounak replied and soon i was friends with them...i joined in the virtual SGP parivaar as the sweet l'il meethi and was warmly welcomed there as well...

then after a few discussions here and a few there...i made a post for the GOTW to start...and with Vipu's encouragement started the very first GOTW...the response was great..many of the silent members started participating and it was gr8 fun....Haaki made a post for the banner of the forum and we all supported the idea and soon we were having a banner contest for the forum...then Aman made us CC just like a gud teacher gives his students a break from studies like a free period ....and we all students started bickering over there...and well all are talks either started with food or ended at it😆😆...can't believe we are a bunch of such big bhukkads...talked in CC from morning to night and it was gr8 fun...its the place where i got to know so many more members and soon who were just some random people till then became my friends...we were a family...spending the entire days together...Sanaaya,Vipu,shounak,haaki,Tanu di,Pooja di,laxmi di,vish di and all...guys i miss u all and i miss those days..

then there came the SGP Chronicles...the newsletter and it gave me my gang of friends Haaki,Shwetha,Vipra,Shounak and me....we guys had so much fun discussing different things with each other abt how to present the newsletter....and ofcourse there were shikha and Manasi to guide us through it and help us out with their amazing creations...i don't think i hv ever got to say this but Shikhz...you are the most amazing,the most creative person here on IF....your creations are just mindblowing and they stand out...👏

there came the GPOTW...that gave us the chance to grill our friends with our long and weird list of questions...and they had no other option but to answer us😆....the member awards,best of sgp awards and the birthday posts...they all managed to bring us all closer...

and i had fallen so deeply in love with Sushaan that i started writing a FF...the response was gr8 and i was all happy untill one day i had to write a part like 3 times but lost it for some reason everytime...and then i didn't feel like writing it again...n i still don't n i don't even wanna continue without that part...haha so the fic is like left abandoned...

talking abt FF's reminds me...haaki,shwetha..when r u updating ur fics..i so wanna read them...better continue soon😉..

the frequent interactions with sheema di,fathima,pravz,Richa,Febs and all in the CC abt the show and various other things in life wud help forget any worries if ever there were any...

and Keenu...first saw her here in my own b'day thread and though i had known her from before.through the DID forum...it was here that we cud bond better😳

and then i had to go away...cz the studies start again...this time much more serious,much more demanding...away at the hostel i miss u all guys so so much that i can't even begin to tell...being here on the SGP forum was so much of my daily routine that i just cudn't part away...the initial days when i hadn't yet settled in...i used to miss the forum so much that though i cudn't login through mobile...i was always reading everybody's posts😆😆...though i cudn't comment...but i didn't feel i was away..but as the work began..this activity started becoming less frequent...but still i do visit the forums through cell...and yes i can login now....bt the speed is so slow that it makes it diff to remain active....

and now since i m not so active i haven't gotten a chance to interact with the new members but i have read posts of some like Himanshu,rubal and many others...whose posts i love to read....and Shakila whose PC seems to be a VM factory...churning out the best of VM's on our lovely Sushaan...under her guidance...i haven't yet commented but have watched quite a few of them and found them truly amazing😳

i wanna thank the amazing cast and crew of SGP for giving us such a wonderful show and Vijay bhaiyya for such a wonderful platform...where we cud discuss abt it....cz if it hadn't been for SGP and IF..i wud have never met so many friends who hold so much importance to me today...😃..thanku for so many wonderful memories😳..

m sorry if i missed neone...being an SGPian u are equally dear...

OMG!!(Suhaana style😉)...i never knew i cud write so much...😲,,itna to kabhi xam me bhi ni likha😆

@shounak-thx dear...for giving us a thread to write our heart out....and rock ur exams buddy...all the best👍🏼

@all...m missing u all guys...m missing the SGP forum badly...can't wait for the 2year to start so that i can be fully active here again

Boring summer vacations of 2010 were enough to force me surfing TV channels and watch any crap that comes on TV...

But one day my eyes stopped on SP....it was the first maha episode of SGP (22.5.2010) where Ragini ( looking stunning in her green suit) was learning how to make rotis..It was an episode filled with laughter..Just in one episode I started loving Suhana and her Kashyap family

Slowly and slowly it became a routine ( an unavoidalble one) to watch SGP at 7.30 pm..The characters and the storyline were too good and I decided to follow it & SGP became ma first Hindi TV serial which I followed for more than 50 episodes..Then I downloaded the old episodes and covered it up..

Till date I have used SGP as a stress buster..Its the only thing right now which guarantees happiness in 20 min.. no NEGATIVITY just the bright side of a family..

I would like to wish SGP a very happy First Anniversay and I wish all the success in future👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏..Hope CV's won't let us down in coming episodes..

Hiya Shounak - Great post! Brought back great memories in the Virtual parivaar thread.. that was deffo fun and pisssssssssst ..i gotta say it felt good seeing my name up there in your post 🤣...After the virtual parivaar thread..i was rarely around here in this forum..but still met great ppl here.... your post was wonderful! Really a trip down memory lane...though a short one for me 😆..but am sure u guys have many memories in this forum. One year for SGP already huh... that is fast .. n well hope u guys have many more of such "memories" threads to come ... enjoy! :-)

All I can say is thank you so much to all of you....SGP is the best forum on IF...seriously...we all have disagreements but we never resort to name calling and foul play...which is why I LOVE this forum and all of you guys🤗🤗🤗

WOW its been a year...my journey with SGP has been a unique one...I saw the promos and I was like oh I'll watch it...I never got around to it....my mom watched a few episodes here and there, but we were at one of our family friend's house and SGP was on and we watched it.....right there I fell in love with the show....I still remember that it was the episode where BM explains to Suhana about Meena when she got mad at her....right then I knew I was missing out

but still more months passed and I forgot about SGP....but then that same family friend was like why the hell are you NOT watching this show....and my mom was like yes we should...so she made me download from the 1st episode...and at first I was like I dont want to watch it....but I could not STOP watching it....in one week we watched about 4 months of SGP episodes....and we havent looked back since

I must say KUDOS to the entire team of SGP and all of the forum members....thanks so much for making SGP even more special than it is😳
