Pooja's journey from saris to short dresses

Pooja Kanwal Mahtani feels lucky to have the opportunity of doing two diverse roles simultaneously.
Apart from playing the doting daughter-in-law in Sasural Genda Phool, she is also hosting reality show Comedy Circus. The two avatars, though poles apart, are connected by a common thread of comedy. "I am so fortunate to act and host at the same time. What's even more encouraging is the fact that both the shows have the element of comedy in them. Even after a long day at work,
I return home fresh and rejuvenated. Comedy to me is a stress buster," says Pooja. The actress who wears short dresses in the reality show and cotton saris in her daily soap, invites confusion amongst her fans. Pooja states, "I am always questioned by my fans refusing to believe that I am hosting the show, courtesy my costumes, which is quite funny."
