Excellent thoughts!!! I thing 99.9% of us SGPian would agree with every word you said. Even when we criticize SGP its because we dont want it to get in trap of typical star plus serial , because SGP is so so realistic and close to many lives, each one of us can relate to one or the other thing. I agree with your mum,about old movies, I am a big fan of Amol Palikar and Farooq Shiek,s movies, they were simple and close to our daily lives and SGP reminds us of that era. The best thing about SGP is not larger then life sets, and costumes, no bashing intented , whenever going through different serial while changing channels, just cant understand the sets and costumes, may be story would be okey , I dont know as I dont watch anything else but this pantomyme kind of sets and costumes kills me.
May God save our SGP from EVIL EYE of TRP hungry TV channel,s typical tactics.

hey sani very nice post dear, u summarized all the basic qualities of SGP in such a wonderful way that you left nothing for me to say on this regard and their is one more things the way they wisely handled all the tracks otherwise when u will see all other shows you will be confused with mixture of tracks but this is not the case with SGP,wo kehte hai naa ki ankhon se kajaalchra liya aur pata bhi nahi laga, same here they stole our heart with their simplicity and now i m realized that i am addicted to SGP and forum too .

ohhh,u too reminded me of Farooq and Amol's movie though i am from present generation but still i like old movies very much especially such kind of movies from that era and i always restrict myself to watch today's age movie until or unless something special comes which happens very rare😕
