Rewind to an action packed week

I celebrated my first Diwali in the Kashyap household and what a lovely experience it was. We had new clothes and I must admit that papa has a great sense of fashion. He got me a lovely sari, which I absolutely loved.

Although it was my first Diwali with Ishaan, I was a bit annoyed to see Sonali there. I know that she's Ishaan's best friend, but it's our first Diwali together. She could have come sometime before or after the festival. Why did she come during the festivities? Another thing that I've noticed about her which is very annoying is that she blindly agrees to everything Ishaan says, even if it's wrong. Doesn't she have a mind of her own?

I'm not saying that I'm feeling insecure about how Sonali feels about Ishaan, but I sense that they are getting closer. Yeah, she's his best friend and all that, but I am his wife. But I trust Ishaan and know that he will not go astray. I will give him his space and see how things go.

However, although I think she has some flaws, she's quite a nice person. She even made a lovely rangoli, which I credited her for, thereby making it clear that I am trying to be friends with her. She isn't that bad a person. She just tends to overreact a lot. I'm really grateful to her for helping me make a rangoli

Diwali overall was nice, but I was a little irritated with the bursting of firecrackers, as I feel that it's a way to encourage child labour and noise and air pollution. I am against all of these and so I preferred spending time with Badi Maa and learning the rituals like doing the Lakshmi and Ganpati Puja. It was a lovely experience and I felt so blessed.

After Diwali, we went and saw the Rajvansh family to wish them on their marriage. Ragini and Sakshi were looking very beautiful in the wedding attire. Ishaan and I had a lovely time dancing together, which was nice. Ishaan is a pretty good dancer, which surprised me. I guess I'm noticing him a lot more now and we're getting closer.
