@bold, that was nicely put, you have summed up Raunak's character very well...I think one of the main insecurity Raunak faces is that he doesn't want to turn out like his father, this insecurity comes out in the form of ego, especially when Panna tries to make ends meet and thanks to his mother, for the sense of false pride that he has inherited from her, which prevents him from thinking rationally and see the gravity of the situation..looks like he is well on his way from runnning away.Originally posted by: Armu4eva
Raunak............a guy who most likely has grown with a grudge on his father...for what he mite have provided...or rather not provided in his growing years.. under the shadow of a woman who quite surely has done everything in her right to always flaunt n taunt ..rather than bond.!! Today as he faces a mid career crisis ....he instead of admitting and accepting the situation and making efforts to tide away the crisis... choses to deepen that very crisis..thanks to his ego..!!On the other hand we have Panna... who grew up watching her mothers heart broken..in a family ..which mite not boast or flaunt its status but a family which taught her to value relations.. love...bonding and instilled in her the ability to tide over a crisis... with her head held high!! As Raunak decided to expend on the gifts...she suggested...alternate solution by gifting sweets while also asking Raunak to settle for non branded stuff...till the crisis lasts..!!
