I am sorry that I have to start this topic, but I am not at all impressed with Jay,s acting today, it looked like he is trying TOO HARD to ACT. I agree that he was excitted to hear about his friend coming, but hey!!! you dont have to act like a nerd!! I always appreciated when Jay did a good job, but today he was trying too hard to act like he is very excited, the director should have intervened. I dont agree here that its the demand of ISHAAN,s character as the same scene was done with more conviction from the same director using the different actor. For the first time I had to close my eyes and ears so that I cant hear his squeecking noise. I am dreading what is he going to do when SONA would come!!! I hope no body get offended as I am talking about an actor who had delivered the good work before but failed to do it today in my opinion, but hey some people must have loved it , that,s there choice.

mmm...sheema di...i agree to an extent..jay was not good for me...bt he wasnt worse...😉for me..

i had problem with the writer or director whoever was incharge of setting the entire scene...i cant really understand why myself...i felt jay was doing as if somebody had asked him to do exactly like that...and yes so much excitement for a letter...thats not needed....hope it goes on well...

bt i have to say my maximum concentration was on suhana...so i din feel any annoyable with jay...😉😆

Sheema is baare main chup rahoongi ....i have my reservations abt both Jay nd Ragz ......the Loshaan magic is definitely not there in Sushaan...my view completely

Agree! The Loshaan magic is something else - but to be fair, I actually think Jay as Ishaan is able to portray better than the Bengali guy. But actually I think the real problem with SGP is that they are putting two Bengali episodes into one Hindi one and it takes away from the story, the acting and everything else! They're condensing one hour of the Bengali episodes into 20 mins so I think the scope is really limited for both Ishaan and Suhana...

I haven't watched the epi so can't say but I wouldn't be surprised.....Jay has been overacting since many days now.

@Pooja: If there is something lacking in the SuShaan chemistry/storyline in comparison to the LoShaan one as you're saying, that is strictly cuz of the creatives and their lack of foresight in developing the IS relationship at a crucial juncture.....I still don't fault Ragini's acting....she's totally in keeping with Suhana.....Jay is the one who gets mega hyper from time to time and starts SHOUTING in the name of 'acting'

Just finished watching the epi....Yeah...I kinda felt Jay's acting a bit OTT and moreover..very loud...I mean this sudden burst of emotions was not expected from Ishaan...even if it would be someone's long lost friend...he wouldnt react the way Ishaan did today.....especially when Ishaan says yes yes yes jumping with the letter...that looked a bit...munni type which was a surprise coz Ishaan has a very munna wala image😆😆.....But coming to the episode....I loved it a lot....I mean..fultoo entertainment...Few things which I liked a lot....

1)Badi Ma's expressions were worth watching....I mean she thought Suhana would react in an insecured way on hearing about Suhana...but our Suhana mai...was too khush to know that Ishaan had a ladki wala friend😆😆...Badi Ma was waiting to see the changing expressions in Suhana's face..but in vain..and the change came only after Badi Ma left..I liked the way Ragz changed her expression immediately...from being joyfull...to being ignored...

2)Loved Dadaji-Meethi convo....I think this type of scenes makes SGP class apart from other shows...So much of emphasis is given to every relationship..I mean..in every house..U see the granddad telling chilhood stories of his son..to his grandson/grand daughter....and SGP portrayed it beautifully today too...Really very natural acting by Sudhirji..and not to foget...Meethi😊

3)Alok..I am in love with this charachter!!!..Dont know why...but the CV's have given a totally different charachter sketch of Alok in SGP than in OBS...and in a good way....I love his one liners and chota mota dialogues...First it was tu toh chup hi rahein....and now its...ha ha ha....nahin nahin nahin😆😆Loved that part too....And coming to the paint promotion...I think they did it quite naturally too..OMG..SGP promotes products naturally too😆😆(I am such a SGP fanatic u see😉)

4)The convo between Inder-Elesh-Suhana-Ishaan...Though I felt..the scene was a bit loud...but nevertheless..it was humorous IMO...especially when Inder gives the passport size photo smile🤣..Or when Elesh shows that Ishaan and Sona wouldnt literally chipkofy to Suhana😆😆..and when Suhana said...Sonali aur uski behen Rupali??...😆..And then finding out that they were soul mates...what is adda..etc etc...

5)And not to forget..the last part between RB and Deepak....Loved it a lot....I am extremely happy that they have not closed the track after RB-Deepak union...and are giving emphasis for their story to grow too😊

And OMG...Suhana back in Jhansi Ki Rani mode...with Mrs.Beautifool😆😆LOL...Dadaji with the hanky..and Suhana closing her nose and arguing was hillarious..😆😆

This Sonali track's gonna rock big time!!! :) :) (except for the girl playing SOnali...hope she does justice to the charachter..fingers crossed)😊

I am biased about SGP genereally, but Jay,s performance made me upset as I am addicted to SGP and its a shame that the creatives are ruining it by asking Jay to be unecessarily loud. No complaints aboutr the episode , everything was in its place,except Ishaan,s stupidity, AAGAR SUHANA KO JALAN NA BHI HO TO ISHAAN KI UCHAL KOOD KI WAJA SAY TO ZAROOR HOGI< SONA BEGUM KO KUCH KARNAY KI ZAROORAT NAHI HOGI.
Pooja , I totally agree about LoShaan chemistry , I have full faith in Ragini but not sure about Jay, he is scaring me.

Actually the reason why Sushaan hasnt grown on me or some more people out here coz I guess Sushaan has been projected as a comic couple rather than a serious one..I mean every serious scene between them ends up to becomea funny scene😕😕...and me had a convo with Tanu di yesterday..and she rightfully said..even during the song sequences...most of them turn out to be a comic sequence than an enjoyable one coz we always have a TRAINED Jay present there😆😆...I wouldnt say no offence..quite my post is quite offensive...but I guess...being a fan of the show and its cast..I have the right to criticize in a dignified manner..which I guess am doing😊

No I won't say that SuShaan have been projected as just a 'comic' couple....trust me I've seen ACTUAL brainless slapstick comedy shown on plentyyyyyyyy of Star One couples.....that's not the issue with SuShaan.....they are not merely slapstick or comic....Let's take Suhana first....she has been KNOWN to be a crazy character since day one....so if they show her being zany and bindaas to show the lighter side of things.....well enough.....but when they show ISHAAN behaving like a HYPER CHAMPU CLOWN, that's when the problems begin and everything starts to become cringe-inducing.

I'll agree about the song sequences though.....Jay's "trained dancing" unnecessarily makes everything start to look comic when it shouldn't😆😆

great post shounak...loved whatever u said abt each scene...my favorite scene was somehow the paint scene..though adding the promotio and asking meeti to tell its tagline did not impress me..bt till that...it was a sweet scene...
as u said dadaji telling abt inder's childhood days to his grandaughter happens in every house...and after sometime dadaji-dadiji fight to was cute...
and u said it..i have been noticing from "tu chup hi reh"...that whenever alok comes there is some comic or one-liners attached that makes the scene enjoyable for me...
bout can u tell how OBS alok was??was he different??
i "just" noticed the Jay was shouting...bt concentration was on suhana and inder's lines...enjoyable episode...

i would add..may be people who have watched LoShaan(as u say)..are finding SuShaan totally different....i dont find any problems with them...even with Ishaan..i think he is fine and different from any other male character onscreen...and Jay is good too...
