Hello SGP'ians...here is the update for todays episode: 😊
Kashyap Drawing Room
Rano, Radha, and Badi Ma are watching Ishaan and Suhaan's wedding video and smiling happily. Then the scene where Suhaana faints during the wedding after seeing Ishaan's face comes on the screen and Badi Ma gets worried seeing that as she remembers all that Suhaana had written in the letter about how her and Ishaan's relationship is all namesake and just on paper. Then Badi Ma remembers how Suhaana has been trying to be a good bahu lately and she thinks out loud that 'now there is no need to worry'. Rano and Radha question what she means but she diverts the topic and says look how happy Ishaan looks during the wedding. Then Radha and Rano question whether Suhaana will be able to adjust at their relatives wedding but Badi Ma says now Suhaana has begun to understand her responsibilities and she will adjust just as she has begun to adjust in their family. Radha also agrees and says its good that Rajni and Disha and all are there too and they should not worry as they will handle it. Rano wants to call and check but Badi Ma quiets her and tells her that she has full confidence in Suhaana that she will not do anything to bring shame to the family.
Ladies Room at the wedding in Aroha
Dadi shows Rajni, Disha, and Suhaana where they will be sleeping in the main room with all the other ladies. Suhaana questions how they will sleep her and what about the guys. Dadi tells her that the guys will be sleeping in a seperate room for the guys. Suhaana complains that she cannot sleep here and they should go to a hotel instead. Rajni and Disha try to explain to her that this is how it works at weddings and it is hard to get a hotel room for all the guests. Dadi gets angry hearing about the hotel and she angrily comes up to Suhaana and then smiles and says she understands how Suhaana is feeling as she must not be used to staying away from Bholu (ishaan) 😆 Suhaana says Bholu? You mean Ishaan? 😆 So Dadi says yes yes I mean your Ishaan 😉 Dadi tells them to grab the spot in the corner before the other ladies arrive and so Rajni, Disha, and Suhaana get ready to sleep there. Suhaana looks upset but goes to grab the big round pillow from the corner but it is heavy and she almost trips and Disha and Rajni laugh at this while Dadi smiles. Suhaana tehn questions Dadi if Ishaan really used to pee in his bed 😆 Dadi says yes but that was when he was little and saying this she bids them goodnight and leaves. Suhaana is left thinking to herself 'Bholu?" and she says 'yuck' 😆
Mens room at the wedding in Aroha
The men are all gathered around ready to sleep and one of the men is telling a funny story and Inder and Elesh are laughing hysterically and tell them man that they cannot laugh anymore 😆 The get ready to sleep and Inder says to Ishaan 'Bholu please pass that pillow' 😆 Ishaan gets angry and tells him not to call him Bholu. Ilesh wonders that if they dont call Bholu by his name Bholu, then what will they call him. Inder laughs and says that Dadi shoudnt have said the part about Ishaan peeing in his bed in front of Suhaana 😆 Inder and Ilesh say the mosquitos here are quite annoying and Ishaan worries how Suhaana will be able to sleep. 😳
Ladies Room
Suhaana is getting annoyed with the mosquitos and some of the other aunties are complaining as well. The aunties start badmouthing Sumitra Dadi and saying how her treatment at the wedding is bad and they never did this at their own daughters wedding. Rajni and Disha tell them that things like this happen at weddings and they are all adjusting too. Sumitra Dadi comes into the room and Suhaana tells her how the aunties are badmouthing her. The aunties deny this and say they were only just complaining about the mosquitos. Suhaana goes up to one auntie and tells her not to move and then she slaps her 😆 Everyone is shocked to see this and the other auntie says how dare this girl slap our raampyaari (or whatever her name was 😆) Suhaana smiles hearing this and says 'how cool that you guys name the mosquitos in aroha' 😆 She explains that there was a mosquito on the aunties cheek thats why she hit her. Dadi tells the aunties that they should be thankful of her daughter in law for helping them get rid of mosquitos. Dadi tells Suhaana to hit the mosquitos well and not even leave one 😉 Suhaana then goes up to the other auntie and tells her this time the mosquito is on the aunties nose and the other auntie warns her saying 'Surbhi watch out' and Suhaana says the mosquitos name is Surbhi? 😆 Rajni and Disha laugh and tell her to not leave the mosquito. Dadi also tells Suhaana to hit hard and Suhaana hits the auntie on her nose. Dadi questions if the bug is dead and SUhaana says no it flew away and it will not work like this, she will have to hit everyone together and she picks up the long pillow and starts swinging it around while the ladies run 😆
Badi Ma's Room
Radha is fixing the bed while Badi Ma is on the phone with Sumitra Dadi. She questions how dadi liked Suhaana and even Radha comes near the phone and tells Badi Ma to ask if Suhaana did not do anything wrong. Badi Ma learns from Dadi that Suhaana is sleeping on the floor with the cushions along with everyone else and both Badi Ma and Radha are surprised to learn this. Badi ma questions Dadi if Anu (the girl getting married) is happy with the marraige. She says Anu is doing a very noble thing (as she is marrying her jiju since her bhabhi died) as a little girl (Anu's niece whose mother died) needs a mothers love. Badi Ma puts the phone down and Radha questions if Suhaana really slept on the floor with everyone. Badi Ma reprimands Radha that Suhaana is very sensible. Radha makes fun of Badi Ma that she loves the 'namoona's of the house-1 elesh and 2 suhaana 😆 Radha questions if Anu is happy with the marraige and what Dadi said. Badi Ma tells her that Dadi said Anu is ok with the marraige but Badi Ma says she was worried as she is a young girl who must have her own hopes and dreams and to get her married to her jijaji....but Radha interrupts saying its fine and right as at least she knows and recognizes her jijaji as you dont know how a man will turn out and Radha goes in flashback mode remembering her wedding night. Badi Ma sense her difficulty and tries to change the topic. But Radha dismisses it off and says she is fine and how many times will the 'snake' bite her and Badi Ma says it is obvious the 'snake' has just bitten her again. Radha repeats that she is fine and Badi Ma smiles at her and leaves the room. Radha remembers a memory from the night she was raped:
Radha is in her wedding attire and is all disheveled with her makeup smeared and jewellery hanging off (signifying she has just been raped). She goes into the room where her actual husband (who sold her off) is there counting money and drinking alochol. She asks him if he recognizes her and he answers that how can he not recognize her as she is his wife. ( he says this in a evil smile kind of tone) Radha stares back at him with a blank expression and he says he has just taken the sacred rounds around the fire with her and as Radha comes up to him she trips on the rug and he holds her and tells her to be careful as if she had fallen what if she had been hurt. Radha slaps him and yells at him and questions why he did all this and didnt he feel shame in selling his wife. Her husband tells her to forget it all as no one but them two knows who was in the room with her at night. He shows her all the money and tells her that he has never seen so much money at once in his life. He tells Radha that they will go wherever she wants for their honeymoon and she can pick anyplace. Radha is about to slap him again but he holds her hand in anger and drops her to the floor. Radha is left crying on the ground as her husband holds the money close to him.
Radha comes out of flashback mode and is crying as she remembers that night.
Precap: Inder and Ilesh are playing cricket with the genda phool and Suhaana says she wants to see the barati's come but they tell her there is still time. Just then some family comes in and they wonder if these are the baraati's and why they are here so early and Suhaana says these are not baarati's...these are gujraati's 😆
