Rano - a terrible MIL

I cannot stand Rano, especially as a mother in law. She is very rude and disrespectful, and raises her voice when she speaks to Suhana. In addition, she keeps crying for no reason at all. When Suhana talked about leaving the house at 10pm, Rano raised her voice and spoke to rudely, and started crying. I mean, what is the reason to cry? It makes her so stupid. If badi maa were not the elder in the house, Rano would have made every tiny matter big and caused fights in the house. It is only because of badi maa that she has not created a havoc in the house.

Her crying reminds me of my MIL - once, my MIL started crying because we got stuck in traffic. I was shocked and looked at her eyes to make sure she was crying. I asked my husband, is she really crying? She cried and told me, "look how we are stuck in traffic". I have never seen someone cry at the drop of a hat, and it is very annoying.

I actually like rano.. she is just a bit over sensitive thats all

She is soo caring and loving. WE have to overlook some mistakes and look at the big picture. She is really sweet and caring

umm..ok she cries at the drop of a hat and over reacts bt were did u get the idea tht she is rude and disrespectful???if she has yelled at suhana,she has generally had sum reason to do so..come on this is suhana!!am sure she can try anybody's patience if she wants to..tht scene ur talking of,even badi ma yelled at her..does tht make badima also rude?and rano has always gone out of her way to not only make suhana feel at home bt also make her life as comfortable as possible..she was the one who fought singlehandedly for the ac to be installed,cooking special food for suhana,nor forcing her to work at home,etc etc..

I agree that Rano is most irritating and that she should not have said that daughter in laws are not supposed to leave house after 10 p.m.
Does that mean that others get different treatment? So one rule for women and another for men?

Also, Rano is a supremely emotional and over emotional people are really difficult to handle.

Badi ma was right when she said that there are rules that EVERYONE has to follow, without discriminating between anyone.

for me rano is a very real character...we can have people who are very irritating...and whom we cannot predict...

um seriously?? if you think Rano is disrespectful and rude what about Panna's idiotic saas?? I dont think Rano is irritating at all....in fact she is very real...one of my aunties is like her....totally ramdom and really sweet....I think that's why I like her character so much....

but never have I seen Rano being rude to Suhana or being disrespectful...even when the whole Suhana-Sid track was going on...I felt Rano was totally justified in her actions

I dont know about anybody else but i personally love Rano's character... shes too sensitive thats all....
