If this was a cheesy show i would have said he was playing the role of a high tech spy or something,but SGP being slightly on the real side,i believe he is a victim of paranoid schizophrenia.
1)he hides from people.doesnt make eye contact
2)avoids giving his number to unknown people
3)the only connection to his family is his ipod.probably the family tried to send him to a treatment facility?
4)he talks to someone on phone who he addresses as "doctor"
5)he does a background check on people he knows offhand
6)he has to check if people are his enemies or friends before he connects to them
how many of you agree?if you dont i like to hear your views as well.please dont bash.im not bashing the actor.this is what i think the character is
