Unknowingly, Suhana seems to have turned the tables on Bhabhis, making their post-lunch behaviour look childish. She has become a character that is completely clean at heart, and bhabis have been made faulty ones for being angry with her, and if you think about tube-light confession, it was indeed no bid deal. I was wondering, is it a way to project the so called lead's goodness at the expense of two characters who are also not bad.

P.S: It often happens that after a while the thing that bothers us the most becomes a laughing matter. These three will sit one day and laugh over the lunch fiasco. 😊

Interesting topic An! Suhana has this childish innocence that separates her from the other two bhabhis. Although the other bhabhis are not bad at heart at all (after all they slaved away in the kitchen to surprise Suhana), they have the basic human insecurities, need for appreciation and need for reassurance that their position is unchanged with the addition of a new member in the house. We don't know if Disha and Rajni had some tussles initially when they were new to the house. Most people resist change and become insecure about their future. The situation is not so black or white. The way I look at it is - Suhana realizes her mistake and the bhabhis have the magnanimosity to forgive her and move on ...

@an
I was just pondering over this thing and good u pointed that out rightly .šŸ‘šŸ¼.. in joint families i have often seen this happening when the kids r around.... when the kids fight...... and tell their respective mothers complaints about each other.... their mothers tend to react like the way Rajni-Disha reacted in that moment of fury and blow up things as they r hurt with those issues and tend to be more protective about their own kids at first.... when this scene is happeningreal bad... they see the kids r playing together happily but the scar remains for them though the whole issue is completely forgotten by the kids and the ladies blew up the matter.... here the ladies should be mature enough not to blow up the issue but tell the kids to solve amongst themselves... possibly a grandmother would be right in advising them what is right and wrong.....
this was the way the issue was also solved in SGP today.... yest. Rajni and Disha were hurt badly and they displayed their frustations and it was obvious any one would understand their situation but would Suhana understand? That was the question.... She was like the kids ... do the error and not even know about it... so the thought of yours that was her image elevated to bring her goodness to fore when the ladies themselves were so good...is not right in my POV... we never felt either today or yest.that Rajni-Disha were bad in any ways.... it was just that the addressing of those issues could have been in a different way. they were just natural and Suhana too was.... Dadiji was the saviour to this issue.....šŸ˜†

@LadyM: It may be because she had a cocooned life and was always surrounded by people who never said "NO" to her. Did everything to please her and ensured that she is happy. The moment someone like Sid said NO, even she was hurt and acted irrationally.

"they have the basic human insecurities, need for appreciation and need for reassurance that their position is unchanged with the addition of a new member in the house. "

I agree. And, there must have been some kind of tussle before they became friends.

@Laxmi: Great analogy there. You have explained it beautifully. 😊 I may have something to add but that will have to wait. Need to complete some work at the moment.

I don't think think at the expense of Rajini-Disha, Suhana was projected as the so called Lead's goodness.

Suhana - a child like innocent girl who knows nothing about sharing, compromise, to be more expressive about her compassion although she has tons of it, living life in her own terms, immature, but very clean and good at heart. She lacks motherly love and taming. Whatever she does, does it unconditionally. She wept with Badi maa and slept with her to keep her company on the day she felt lonely. While the rest of the family cooked for Badi maa to cheer her up, failed to understand she needs compassion and not endless menu on the table.

Rajini-Disha - are matured, understanding, responsible, have an understanding of different shades of life, but yet, do not have compassion. If they did, they would have dealt with Suhana differently. Did they ever show compassion to Suhana ever? They have comparison scale ready at all times. They are good at heart. But not practical. Rajini-Disha are failing to understand that slogging in the kitchen to make endless dinner menu doesn't cut for everything. But empathy, compassion and communication is what it takes to win a heart!!

I am a silent reader (for the most part) in this forum. And I must say that it's a peasure reading you guys' posts and the different point of views. Be it from who was at fault over the dinner episode, or Suhana's innocence making the bhabhis look not-so-good.

I used to read another forum pretty regularly and people would end up insulting each other just to prove their point right. This forum handles different opionions with utmost respect and makes it even more pleasant to read all the creative thoughts and opinions.
Keep up the good spirit guys 😃 šŸ‘

@an brought up a beautiful issue and i agree with all said here. vish u put out that matter of compassion so beautifully yaar.... i never gave it a thought... yes i did say about suhana understanding badimaa's solitude so well when others could not ....but could not term it nor relate it with disha-rajni's efforts... yes u r so right... they r very good at heart... did out of the world things to make badi maa happy by cooking the dishes and yet she was not content with all that.... she jsut needed someone to understand her pain and the compassion in suhana could do it.... so well termed... vish...šŸ‘
@justaviewer
We too were a part of some other forum but felt our opinions could be respected and heard only in this forum without any bias ....so what u said we could understand and don't be a silent reader yaar.... i read your views i guess today on suhana and bhabhis.... and i liked it too...we always agree to disagree... after all 2 minds can never think the same ... right?😃

Aww yeah good point.

lol the thing about Suhana is that it's just so hard to stay mad at her for long. šŸ˜† Eventually Rajni and Disha would just have to melt.

I mean she's toh not even AWARE of what the issue is. šŸ˜† She's toh apni duniya mein mast and still happy about her italian food and all. šŸ˜†

Toh like badi ma says in the precap, it's not intentional on her part. And once she understands Disha and Rajni's perspective she will again apologize in her adorable way. And Disha and Rajni toh are really warm hearted too so they won't hold a grudge for long.

Aww seriously LOVE this family and how they deal with these issues.

Like you said, the best part is how they make these issues seem SO small in front of bigger things like relationships, family, love and togetherness.

I also have to give props to Inder and Elesh for making the whole situation so light hearted and finding the humour in it all. šŸ˜†
