I mean even in BBB, I had characters that I actually didn't like much...which is not the case with SGP! But that is obviously my opinion and wouldn't compare much!😳

But I agree...this is one of the thing that has got me attracted to this show that although leads are Ishaan-Suhana, each and every character is given their respected place!! And characters have differences amongst themselves but it doesn't take like a month to sort them out...it gets sorted out in like an episode or two!😳😳 Which is really beautiful and depicts that each and every family has these minor differences and misunderstandings...but that doesn't affect their relationship and gets resolved pretty quickly!

Its also amazing how this show has soo beautifully sketched out each and every character that you just feel soo close to them! I mean I can actually relate to Ishaan, Suhana, Suhana's sister, her father, rajni, disha, elesh, badi maa...and the list goes on! And if not relate, I am atleast able to justify their actions because I can feel them! The actors are soo beautiful too that this show has already made me cry like soo many times!! And that was not coz it was an emotional scene...but it was because the scenes were filled with soo much of love!!

Oh I am in love with this show!😳😳

i totally agree! this show is amazingly sketched out with fantastic storylines and dialogues...great characterss...and what i love the MOST is that it's not being stretched too much. I thought maybe the roti scene will be shown next week, just to stretch the show but we got to see it in the MAHA episode.
and YEAHHH I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW!! 😆

yaa but I was quite happy with these insecurities and differences moments that was clouded around disha and rajni...well USA is 1 week behind...and so I though that rajni's jealousy would be stretched more...except yesterday I saw all the 6 episodes...and I was sooo happy that it just ended in the episode or two!😳 It was amazing!! Being an indian show, I never expected that to happen...but I was soo happy...and this made me fall in love with this show again!

Also I soo adored the moment btwn Ishan and Suhana on saturday's episode when he makes her realize her mistakes with the way she talked to elesh...and it was soo beautiful man...taht suhana realized it and all this differences was just sort out quickly!!

Amazing show!! Totally love it!😳😳

SGP is a well thought of storyline, and analysis of each character and how one reacts in different situations, but the focus on family values never shift gear.

Good points made by you all... no lose ends... and no sleeping over the issues. They are resolved immediately. It sends a great message to people that what is portrayed in SGP can happen and will happen in every house hold. But an open communication resolves all issues.

Ishaan's character is being shown very matured and with great understanding.

However, I want to see few things happen in SGP. In yesterday's episode they showed Elesh as a very good person at heart and very forgiving. I simply loved that aspect. But what I would have loved to see is that Elesh making Disha realize that they have erred by ridiculing Ishaan-Suhana's marriage and a woman's character by linking her up with another man when that is is his own brother's wife. That left me little uncomfortable. I am only hoping they will clear this issue sometime soon.

Well I actually thought of posting this long back, but cudnt get time so posting now.....

Whatever I am saying in this post is with repect to the Hindi TV industry and the present Hindi serial scenario...I am not comparing any shows in particualr with SGP but I am talking about hindi daily soaps as whole

What I have felt is that nowadays almost every hindi television show has got a so called great Indian family consisting of many members starting from dada-dadi to pota-poti...Whenever you switch hindi channels, you will atleast find 8 out of 10 shows depicting such a family...But the common practice which I have seen is that in those shows, except the lead pair, the other charachters depicting the relatives of the lead are sidelined...They merely stand as a support to the lead and nothing else.....But here in Sasural Genda Phool,I have seen that each and every charachter has been etched in such a manner that you actually cant concentrate on just the lead pair...Right from the starting we have seen that each and every member of the Kashyap Family has some or the other back story which has been portryaed in the show..Starting from Badi Ma whose husband has left her alone to Radha Bua whose husband could do such a pathetic thing with her...each charachter has a story to tell...If you recollect,in the initial episodes, the show showed a conversation between Suhana and Dolly DiDI where even Dolly Didi had a small thing to share about her husband...like first she thoght her husband wud be lakhon mein ek...and later she found that he was indeed one of the lakh of people..nothing special...(i actually loved that dialogue).......
Even Meena who is supposed to portray a maid in the house has a story which was brought out by Badi Ma which i guess none of the other shows would even care to tell......And not just story, every charachter has a prominent role to play...each and every charachter gets ample screen space along with the leads...may it be the sweet scenes between Sushaan,Dadaji-Dadiji or Elesh-Disha or Indser consoling Rajni......and its not just the husband-wife sequence here....U get to see great father-daughter scenes with KK-Sanju-Suhana and great Mother-Son scenes with Badi ma-Inder or Rano-Ishaan

I had read in a TB interview with sadia siddiqui(radha Bua),she told that she took the role of Radha Bua in SGP becuase she knew that this was a Ravi Ojha show and she was damn sure that she wouldnt be wasted...And thats so true....

I guess after Baa bahu aur baby and Jasuben Jayantilal....this indeed is a great indian family which is in real...The whole set up of the sasural has been done in such a way that u will find such families now and then in ur muhalla..........

This was just according to my POV😛...so please let me know ur POV too😉......and please dont mind my long post😆

very well said 👏 i totally agree wid u....
