Mayank stops his bike in the middle of the road and questions. Sarojini as to why she threw the garland around Somendra's neck. Sarojini defends herself by saying that she did not do this purposefully and it was just a mistake. Their argument is witnessed by the crowd, who gather around. Soon, a policeman too arrives at the scene and interrogates Mayank while Sarojini walks away. Later, Nandoi learns that Sarojini and Somendra are in contact with each other. His trust on Sarojini breaks and he decides that she should be married to Mayank.
