Thanks ratna for the update.

The start looks promising. But konjam copy of Kalath uVeedu pola irukku

The older son is the hero in Kalathu Veedu.

Yes original Menakshi mother is mother here.

The sister Raji (Thulasi from SM2) uses a Crutch to walk not walking stick.

Douglas there too all chars recycled but could have started a new serial and new numbers and new name. 😒

Would love to watch Ratchita as Meenakshi again but I simply dont like the rest of the cast especially Rio as Saravanan and that Kalathu Veedu hero. Vettaiyan-Meenakshi were adorable. Earlier I liked Irfan-Ratchitha pairing too. Sendhil-Sreeja as SM will always be the best!!!

No one can replace senthil and sreeja. They are always Saravanan and Meenakshi. And no story can replace SM1 story..

The start wasnt bad, lets see how it all unfolds.

VEttaiyan Meenatchi were one of a kind. Had we got mini series of various seasons of Saravanan Meenatchi with Kavin n Rachitha, would ahve been a trend setter n moreover no dragfest.

But well yeah, Kavin made his choice, we can make our own. :-)

Typical start of a rural story..Karuppu, kovil thiruvizha, friends turned foes..

Glad to see Kalathu Veedu hero as Saravanan brother..He'll act well in a village story..

Have seen S mom in Pasanga movie before..she acts very naturally..good to see her too..

Sathya & Raji as S sisters..both are old faces of Vijay TV.. They suit well for their roles..

Brother gving gift to Sathya and sisters scene were lovely to watch..

Hero Saravanan introduction was pucca mass and that too with Kabali...again doughlous as his friend was boring..

Precap..Meenatch family introduction..

Overall a good start but nothing new..
