I feel people are so obsessed with old SM. I see everyone keep saying this new one boring and can't sit through doesn't have the charm of old SM etc. Infact people stopped watching and keep complaining about it.
What I feel is we should give it a try. original SM Sreeja and Senthil had a wonderful chemistry and no one can beat to it. But they have reasons not to continue acting.
I do feel we need to give a chance to the new serial to see how it is going. it is a cool twist and a good story line to start with.
I wish the producers have done some thing different,
- Rather than numbering the episodes from 500+ could have started as 1
- They could even rename the title to some thing else. (I know they want to capitalize)
- Rather than calling the boy Sakthi Saravanan and keep calling Saravanan just for the title I like Sakthi better.
- This 25 year leap will prove to be so complicated in few scenarios. For once in 25 years from now they show everything the same.
For once I want to forgive the mishap of Sarada/RS looks and age matter and start fresh.
As fro heroine - I have seen them separately. Rachita and Irfan and not together. To me looking like that they may not suit but would like to wait and see. If I think of SM I cannot accept them but if I think of Sakti and Thangam then may be yes.
I guess how the serial goes and popularity we will have to really wait and see though.
