Part 9 C:
Previously: Saras and Kumud settled in another city. Saras handled the business and Kumud worked in the same company.

After a month,
Kumud opened the door to her apartment or hers and Saras's apartment. She just threw her bag in the corner of her room, and slumped on the sofa while fuming, "What does that girl think of herself?"
Both of them had been staying together as friends after they left Mumbai. Saras gave Kumud time to cope with the changes. Kumud started feeling something for Saras, she had not confessed yet but she was about to but that b**** was flirting with him and on seeing that she left from there. Kumud was working in the same company as Saras. However Kumud hated Suzy, the receptionist who never missed a chance to flirt with Saras and that was what she had been doing today.
Kumud heard the door open and she knew who it was.
"Kumud, what is wrong with you?" Saras said.
Kumud didn't answer back, instead she just stood and turned her back towards him.
Saras was annoyed with her behavior, she had disappeared from there even after having told her to wait for him, it was so difficult to understand what was in her mind, he sighed," Kumud, why did you leave, I asked..."
Kumud turned to face him," I thought that you weer enjoying yourself with that Suzy that's why I left..." she spat out in anger.
Saras saw her jealousy and grinned but he put a stern face when he saw Kumud looking at him,"How does it matter to you, if,,," Saras started calmly and watched her expressions.
"I can't believe it, Saras, I don't like her at all..." Kumud gritted her teeth, he had the guts to ask her why she was behaving like that.
Saras walked towards her while she took some steps backwards. Kumud realized that she was trapped between him and the wall, "Saras..."The closeness was causing havoc in Kumud's senses, Saras gave an amused look and ran his hand on her face while whispering, "I smell something burning."
Kumud did not dare to look at him, she knew that her cheeks were red by now, she turned to the other side and faked the anger in her tone, "Are you mad?"
Saras placed his finger under her chin and turned her face so that she was facing him, "Really, So you felt bad on seeing me and Suzy together."
Kumud let go of all her emotions and let the tears flow out of her eyes, "I love you." Saras felt like he was the happiest person in the world. H e had craved to hear those words from her. He knew that she felt something for him but he wanted her to confess.
Saras wiped her tears and joined his forehead with hers, "I love you too."
He took Kumud in his arms..
The came out of the hug and Saras's lips met with Kumud's. Kumud was initially taken back at first but slowly she reciprocated the kiss.
