Arshicsji, thanks for entertaining bytes. I am really confounded by writers' approach. Their writing technique is usually vacillating between shoddy-lazy writing and average-run of the mill job. At times they take us by complete surprise by offering cute, enjoyable, worthwhile and poignant moments, rarely mesmerising romance. The entire last week was one fine instance out of many. In the beginning they seemed to manage the FP issue involving school and children well and also served us with a fine sprinkling of exciting and heartwarming samud moments. Again saras displayed the love and companionship of a husband and was ready to hold the fort in kumud's absence. But his detective giri act and the entire operation to nab the culprit were unrealistic and unconvincing. Again cvs proved their lack of prowess in their favourite investigation act. The contrasting nature of RN (city or village) as per cvs' convenience made the whole idea farcical. On one side RN is progressing and expanding rapidly and gumaan and team SKD are shown using high-end technical equipment and on the other side RN reflects the poverty, lack of basic amenities&public awareness to issues like education. There are 'logic ki vaat' galore in everything they write and show. The FP issue is very minor (as shown by cvs ) in contrast to the issue of school affiliation cancellation which itself pertains to state government. Even without an initial enquiry govt will not resort to any extreme measures. It was lovely to see the SKD team (cute naming) cracking the case. But what was the contribution of police, school management and staff? Saras may be the latest idol of children or man of the hour since he assumed full responsibility for handling the crisis. But it is apparently the school's loss of credibility. Also the writers' representation of teachers is very unfortunate. In the entire FP track teachers were shown in poor light as clueless and worthless. Even the guilty person was predictable from the beginning without an iota of suspense. The choice of the drama medium to highlight the importance and value of education was good and worthy of great praise. But the street play was poorly conceived and executed (kiddish&cliched).They could have opted for an engaging story and the performances could have been much better. The intent was there, but not the content. In spite of the message being loud and clear villagers' stubbornness and overreaction were strictly uncalled-for (cvs' fabulous time-pass idea). The brothers' SKD team is a delight to watch. But kabir still hasn't got into the groove and not yet established a good rapport with saras whereas danny and saras have terrific chemistry together. At last sundari arrived and graced our show. Again saras and Co took charge of the whole situation from the time the officials landed in RN till they finished the entire procedure. No representation, plans or arrangements from school. With the constant omission of logic and commonsense these cvs never prove our criticism wrong. Danny's antics to delay the officers were delightful and entertaining. He is full of fun, energy, enthusiasm. He is a versatile actor who is always hungry for his due. It makes a refreshing change to be able to see saras and kumud on the same frame after an interval. Today cvs again tried to make kumud scapegoat much to viewers ' displeasure. But thanks to them, they quickly brought her to her right senses. A couple of tender samud moments and a kiss though short-lived(kiss - why always on hair or air?). Saras always treats kumud with great kindness, understanding and respect - absolutely one of a kind husband material. The initial 'felicitation' scene was nice and pleasing and the farewell scene was thankfully sensible, not sentimental. Anushka though looking attractive doesn't make a strong or vivid impression. She has toned down her expressions reasonably but her portrayal is an obvious stereotype. Kabir-anushka's scenes are contrived and cliche-ridden. As of now the much awaited Mumbai track looks promising.
