For Samud every day is valentine day

Lovely post. Especially love your PS part. People do act childish at times in love. That is a known fact. They can drop guard and do so only in front of their love. Not with parents, not with kids.

Above all verdict - I am actually today after watching the epi really am happy with the way SC is gong...I am happy seeing samud together and happy and I dunno after today's epi I feel, with these two it's so not about just being physical...it's about walking that unknown journey together...no matter what..supporting one another whether it's Monday, Tuesday or valentines day, it's about Loving each other beyond words, beyond physical needs. Since I don't believe too much in VD, I didn't like Kumud making a big deal of him forgetting the day, but I like the way it turned out.

Each date they have is different from the previous and unique, and this one was sweet, and a day spent in luxurious timelessness, away from it all, rescuing the little love birds.

I would have hated a Danny kusum type of vday - clichd, and not matching the characters of Saras and Kumud.

The way Saras went cooing all over looking for the birds mate was funny and it was a cute date

But, my main problem is that it actually doesn't gel with Kumud character to crib about a husband who doesn't remember vday.

Living in RN, the day would not be huge for them, these sisters behave more and more like dilli Mumbai walis rather than RN walis.

Chocolates, roses, vdays, last night dansum celebration was such a copy book celebration, it had no freshness and was again not in sync with RN and it's ethos.

But since kusum the character has never been clearly etched, she is anyway materialistic and demanding, and Danny has had a western upbringing, toh chalta hai

But Saras and Kumud are different, the way it would have made more sense would have been Kumud not caring too hoots about, but dikra seeing Danny deciding to make the day special and sweeping her off to the day in the jungle, since Kumud is a khadoos and Saras the lattoo, is always wanting to show his love in new and unique ways.

As it is the typical Mia biwi khit khit didn't work for me, I expected them to have a different level of communication, not this.

But Kat then why kumud made saras remember this day?

I think a little cribbing is natural...valentines day may be a new fuss in cities in India but actually it goes back decades so so someone educated and sound with general knowledge i.e. kumud would know what valentines day is!

I think expecting saras to remember was a natural reaction. I don't think she at all expected the fuss...a wish from him wudve made her happy enough.

And they even maintained distance while they take seat together, Is this newly wed couple who had tadap for union?

btw is jen suffering viral fever? As she is sick so may be something like that? made me think by seeing distance.😒

They gave only one VD feeling today that is kumi dis first ever proper hug and Finally kumi di put her hand on saras's waist.😆

Well she did put her head on his shoulder while they were sitting. Linda I think it's not necessary that every newly wed couple are all over each other. samud aren't like that but I think it wudve been nice if they had walked hand in hand after they found the birds...

Infact when they got up from the bench, saras first seemed like approached to hold her hand and take her to the car and she had her hand out then he resorted to putting his arm on her shoulder as tho she needs support cos she can't walk? This didn't feel natural! Wudve been nicer if he had held her hand and walked her to the car.

So yeah such little things do bug me but overall I think yday I did get a newly wed feel and valentines was never gonna be a big typical fuss cos that's not them...if kumud was so bothered abt valentines she wudve said ok lets go to this lunch but she isn't material at all. All she wudve wanted is for saras to remember and wish her. That's natural...I don't believe in VD but had my other half not wished me I wudve been dissapointed.
