My take is now he will go to fix his liver n come back.
He has understood that his gangly giraffe n sick/coughing avatar have not succeeded in garnering the sympathy he wanted. Kumud will never b his especially when SARASWATICHANDRA is around.
Once he is back, he will definitely try to get rid of Saras now that everybody thinks he is no longer a threat n has changed.
