I am so glad Saras retorted and how ! !! Next time Kumud says she loves Saras and wants him to stay! , wont we all question her ? Because her love is beyond recognition, and probably the saddest state of affairs today! 😭

True Sudha, and is there any real difference between kusum and Kumud?

Isn't kusum actually the shadow of Kumud- just made grotesque by the darkness that she falls in?

But just as a shadow is only a reflection of the being, but sometimes looms large and ugly, so is kusum just a Kumud turned ugly, without the depth and substance of Kumud.

That was quite a dialogue, TV serials wale heroines aise kaise bol sakte hain.??-))

I am still scratching my head on how she could say that. Saras ki saansein jhoot bolne se/ye chori-chori shaadi karwane se rukenge ya kusum ke saath galat rishte mein bandh kar rukenge.

Saras's questioning back was great but he should have asked the above too.

And like Smrth ji said, he gave much pride to his love. Her saansein that he secured by saving her life, putting his own life at risk, how could they survive this?

And Kumud's non-reaction was again bad. This implies only one thing. That this thread of argument will be taken up again. And I like that.

She did say to all that he will be majboor in the beginning but 'dheere-dheere' pyaaar ho jaayega. Ek baar wo dialogue bhi saras ko sunana tha.

When I heard Kumud utter these lines , I wanted to kill her . Kumud has lost her senses .

I wish, the moment had been stretched just a bit more, for Kumud to give a reaction/expression in response to this! It was a very significant conversation between the two, but as always, it got interrupted !

We would think that would have been a water-shed convo. And they should give have given more time. But I have watched only one show before. And with experience I can say that it never happens that way. So wave 2 or 2nd instalment is going to come in the future. And thats good in a way.

BTW we have seen a lot of movies where leads part ways after one of them asks the other to do so and sacrifice it for someone else(sometimes a sister). But, their love was mostly unknown. This is a unique case. Makers are hell bent on creating history. Where everything is out in the open. And Madam is asking Sir to first give fhis saansein and forecasts that he will 'dheere-dheere' love her sister. And the best part is what she said to Guniyal n Dugbaa at the well. What did I do? Maine kyaa kiya. Sab kuch kismat ka faisla thaa. But in reality she thought she fought with kismat and won.

VC and Gun Sundari are completely USELESS! Why do they claim to be parents if Kumud gets to decide on behalf of the whole family? She could barely manage her own life..having to deal with Pramad despite of what she had to go through at his hands..her own decision to get married to whoever her father approves of, backfired big time and yet no one learnt..neithr Kumud nor VC..!! Kumud needs to back off and not see her sacrificing hers and Saras' happiness as solution to all problems in the world.. Its like ''Oh famine has struck Ratna nagri, let me and Saras stop eating and save food for people '' Very noble thought indeed, but there can be other practical solutions to the problem that can actually help people without her volunteering to commit suicide and commanding saras to follow suit! In this case, Kusum should have been dealt with severity..this is no like asking for some stupid chand, kamarbandh or ghagra choli.. Saras is not an inanimate object that she can have tied to her.. he has FEELINGS and those are NOT for her! If she loves Saras so much she should want to see him happy...Isn't that what impressed her so much about Saras? That he always strived for Kumud's happiness..even if he couldn't own her? All this what should have been explained to Kusum, without going all bonkers like Guniyal or sympathetic to the extent of getting blackmailed like Kumud.. someone headstrong and calm should have sat down with her and made her see things the way they are...I don't see anyone like that in Desai house ..I always felt Saras should have had a word with her..

Exactly Vaishali. This has been bothering me for quite some time. While we are angry on Kumud et al, why is he not clearing this to Kusum directly? Enough of 'masoom Kusum', "Hey sis, you are offending me. And repelling. You are a Sister to me. Nothing less, nothing more."😡😡

We all are in the same boat. There are some gems in each episode that prompt us to write lengthy rants.

I say this show is watchable only for the character Saraswatichandra, He has grown from strength to strength. Today he apologized with his eyes for what happened. Took complete ownership. I am at loss to understand why is he the only sane one. Why are all other characters so dumb and so wrong. Completely wrong in a show like this.

This is nothing but makers belittling/disliking their own creation.

I thought when Saras went to talk to her prior to the wedding..that was the best time to clear things out to her.. Not just speak about Danny but tell her in clear words that what you are feeling for me is impossible for me to reciprocate because I see you as my sister.. simple! Kusum has assumed on her own that Saras will not ''hurt'' her even if she makes a wrong demand..and obviously she can hurt everyone around as long as she's happy..the spoilt brat Kusum! her demand is not only wrong its unethical.. and even if Kumud was not in the picture, love should be mutual ... if she can feel revolted at the idea of marrying Danny who she doesn't love how can she expect Saras to accept the proposal when he doesn't love her? His being so deeply in love with her own sister adds to that.. Only and only Saras could have and should have explained all this to her.. I don't know why that never happened.. neither did Saras talk to Danny before roping him in for this marriage.. If anyone he is the one who has the right to be upset and angry.. but I hope he doesn't get mad at Saras..that guy already has to much to deal with :(

If I am right about the chronological order of events, Saras got to know about Kusum's feelings for him in the morning of the wedding. Kumud, the evening before. Kumud comes to him on the day of wedding and goes on a prattling spree planted carefully by her spiteful sister, the same illogics as to why Saras and Kusum were always meant to be together🤪 The man's revolted, takes her in his arms and trashes her kismet theories with some much needed logical reasoning. The chain of events after this, from Danny sneaking in to the bride's room, the obnoxious weed Panna's ruckus, the wicked CVs placement of Saras in that psycho's room at the precise moment when the entire village barges in(I almost expected Saras to drop the Sister-bomb right then, but alas), and the wedding cancellation all led to a chaotic confusion into Kumud's already waning brain power. To top it all, her psycho sister gives guilt trips, "I will also get a guy like Pramad" and BAM, she loses it completely. When she was hell bent upon getting her sister married on that very day itself, there was very little scope of reasoning with her and to take matters in his own hands which is exactly what Saras did. Although I'm really annoyed that Danny's getting the worst form of punishment in this ordeal, it was the best decision under the circumstances (time as a constraint) esp now that Mai is on his side. Desai parents, friggin waste of oxygen😡
