SC- Kusum marriage was not consummated. Having described soul union of Saras and Kumud, the author can not bring himself to write a convoluted other union.

SC remained devoted to his social goal and he led life of an ascetic in paternal home. The author may have achieved epitome of sadistic 'tragedy' in Saras- Kusum marriage, but he has to keep it nominal.😃

So the cvs here are likely to exploit this fact and that marriage may remain nominal...unless Danny, another innovation gets activated...note this, it is TRP consistent!😃

What ever, its time to discard this mess. 'Decisions' are enforced. 🤢

With respect to your source solace...the marriage was not consumated because
- it was the end of the novel
- kusum was actually a jogan mentality, had no interest in saras or a desire to get married t anyone...had to be actually dragged into a marriage with saras
- saras was not THAT interested in kumud...his need for social service goals came first...
- pramad was dead

Unfortunately, currently all the 3 points are reversed
- we are in the middle of the story
- kusum is infatuated to the point of being evil
- saras WANTS kumud...but no social service
- pramad is alive

So that is a very weak defense in front of sadistic cvs and writers...

We have discussed the destruction of all characters fo their original positions...Saras was literally the last man standing...it seems to me he will be destroyed too now...

Just hoping that as per tradition where precaps turned out pretty lame or represented a twist in the actual epi...we see a twist tomo...but not hoping too much ...
