Guniyal is a big let down. I have utter dislike for people who blow their sankaaris trumpet all the time but whose actions do not reflect those sanskaars they r so proud of.
I remembered how she slapped Kumud when she came home late with Saras but why is her hand not raising up for that crazy Kusum. Instead she was in her room telling her - u r gussa with me??

She really thought Kumud has accepted to give Saras to kusum n this is unbelievable. Yes she tried to knock some sense in that kusum' head but the minute Kumud said she was ok with it, she actually "let go". At least that's wat it was for me.

I guess today she will fight for Kumud when she realizes that Kumud was not talking about Saras but Danny.

I had a hard time believing that Gun, the sanskaari mom, even thought of the remote possibility of getting Kusum married to Saras, the Saras who is literally her other daughter's "unmarried hubby"

Danny is not even a 'remote' occurrence in her horizon. So what else would she fearfully surmise when scriptwriters is slyly popping a dialogue on Kumud without any name? But even after this she is not 'accepting' the premise. She is merely 'recognising' her elder daughter's 'presumed' sacrifice. And forbids it quickly. Not 'accepting'. IMO. I may be wrong not trusting these sly script writers 'creatively' manufacturing an MU. Let's see...
