They are totally making Pramad into a besotted Devdas which doesn't feel right. I mean, the real Devdas truly loved his friend and would never do anything to hurt her.
This one, feels sorry for himself and obsessed over what he lost. He doesn't care enough for Kumud to let her move on with her life.
Does Pramad think that by ruining Saras he is improving his chances with Kumud? He already cheated on her with Kalika. He told her to stop doing the natak of being his wife, why is he now being a hypocrite and doing the natak of a husband. As for the marriage, they were both forced into it by circumstances and therefore it isn't a valid marriage. She never loved him and vice versa.
