i mean how blind a person can be. a person who just tried to rape her and then changed overnight. only an idiot would believe that that could happen. if kumuds wants to play pati vrata naari to a monster like pramad, then she deserves whatever pramad does to her. chances are given to people who have even an ounce of goodness left in them.
what i really hate is the "samaaj" thing. i mean i know for living in society one has to follow certain rules and norms but putting ones own happiness over samaj?? i could never agree to that.

True John909, pramaad and kalika are playing a game and Kumud is a pawn.

But thappad is an extreme reaction IMHO.

And as for rules of samaj - this same Kumud was a girl with a strong and independent outlook once upon a time.

Now she has suddenly become a typical bahu of sp shows

Already she has lost most of her admirable qualities - spunk, brains...

Now she is losing the last vestige of self-respect - 😲

Kya acche khaandaan ki ladkiyaan kisi ko thappad maarti hain?😲

Ye CV's Kumudsundari se Solanki jaisi kartoot kyun karvaate hain?

As Krishna Bhagwan over on MB would say,

Jo yogya ya ayogya shiksha aur sanskaar santaan ko maatapita se praapt hota hai

Wohi uske charitr ka dharohar banta hai...

VC- Guniyal, aap Swayam vichaar keejiye!! 😈

Great take off on MB and Krishna Bhagwan happychappy.

Par jab dukhba Saras ko dekh ke suicide karne pani main chali gayi

To choti dukhba thappad bhi maar sakti hai.

Desais ki logic se purani dushmani Jo hai

thank you for supporting my views. in the beginning i liked kumud but since since got married, i am starting to dislike her more and more with each passing day. i hate doormat kinda women who love to treated like a door mat where people can walk all over them and they (women) still dont utter word and despite of that they try to look for faults within themselves rather than that person.
kumud is becoming stupid day by day. i mean if someone tries to rape a girl and next day becomes a saint, how can you so easily trust the guy? just coz he is her husband does not mean that it is logical for her to trust him so easily after what he did to her. har cheez ki ek limit hoti hai.

Well, there are a lot of times in India, where women suffer abuse but do not have an option of walking out. The setup they belong to is very conventional and they have no choice but to carry on.

We have to applaud their courage and their strength, but here the scenario is different.

Here she has the option of walking out, her family is supportive, she has a professional background, no children, Saras to love her - no reason at all to put up with pramaad nonsense.

Except her ego maybe. And the desire to be the winner at all costs, even if it means forcing pramaad to stay in a relationship which he doesn't want.

In the game of 'Kumud must win' pramaad, Saras are all collateral damages!

Shana, after thappad-ke-Azam, we might get mallika-e-aansoo, but poor Saras,

Playing the dhol, and getting slapped, kitna downgrade ho gaya, Dubai ka sanyasi !

yes u r right. if my opinion is concerned then i would say that a girl should walk out of a marriage like this even if the family does not support her. i mean everybody should have some self respect. following traditions is ok till they dont kill your self respect and blur one's sense of right and wrong. here kumud wants to be a pativrata naari so badly that she doesnt care who gets hurt in process or what is right and wrong.
ya kumud has an ego for sure. that is why she keeps on ranting samaj samaj instead of admitting that she is too full of herself to leave pramad and accept that her marriage is a failure.

Aisa kaha usne?

Kitna subtle romance hai

Aur itna kalika over drive kyon ho raha hai

Fridays epi she was giving those menacing shots with khanjar

Now she will dance,

And Saras playing dhol? - I can't get over that

Jisko dandiya nahi aata tha

Ab woh dhol bhi bajayega?

Logic ka band bajega , aur kuch nahi!

Suspension of disbelief kuch zyada hi nahi ho raha?
