Do you mean to say that there is no basis of the dialogue in relation to Krishna? I wonder what travesty we're gonna witness at the celebrations... I mean, is this not offending religious sensibilities?

With my limited knowledge of Krishna and his life I dont see the connection. Before calling it anything, I wanted to check myself and asked Arshi too.
Krishna has many facets. The supreme one is that he revealed 'the supreme' to Arjuna in Bhagavadgita. He is called the Jagadguru. Jagat meaning World. Every leela(deeds that are magical/playful/seemingly unnatural) of his has an esoteric meaning.

There is no basis at all!

Kanha was always - manmohana - the one who will win everyone over with his beauty and charm

Natkhat - mischievous in an enticing loving way

And always stood against evil and with superior abilities - from pootna wadh as an infant to Kaliya nag as a little child - Kanha was always about recognizing evil even if it came in the guise of good (pootna) and conquoring it.

He was there to do the vinash of burayi, and born with the powers to do so

The whole of Gita, Ivy is full of such wisdom, not religious push posh, but true gyan and principles of leading life which till date are true and relevant, and Krishna always had that wisdom!

So pramaad and Kanha ? Only as much as for every ma, her child is always Kanha, and sd is in denial, for her he is still the nanha munna playing ghar ghar with kalika, and the daru ki botal is his doodh ki botal

Speaking for myself, since I am not religious, it's not religious sensibilities that are offended, but I am a great admirer of Krishna so I am very offended.

But to compare him to Kanha beyond that is making my blood boil!

As for TRP junta, if you want to show someone as good, compare them to some Bhagwan, that's all!

Well said Arshi. I only hope she said 'kaise kanha ji ne kaha' and maybe I didn't hear it right.

Krishna stands for that charming nature n wisdom.

Santhi, as far as I have seen, Kanha is the name used for his bachpan, there after during

Mahabharata, when he is likely to have said something like this, he was always referred to as

Krishna, and even I don't remember the exact words, we can check that easily.

kumud says Pramad will come out of his weakness and destroy his buraiya...on the lines of how krishna used to destroy buraiya...

Not directly comparing to Krishna...but offering it as an example...Considering the focus on destroying buraiya...Pramad will sort of follow Krishna's example...not doing it as if he is Krishna...more of a figure of speech types..

That logic's fair enough I think...Don't all of us take inspiration / aspire to follow Krishna's example to destroy our own weakness? ...we don't think we are all Krishna when we attempt to do so...

I think its weak & loose writing...not so much direct comparision...

separately,
Below is what I posted on osj's thread last night re: Saras and Kumud having moved on... or not... am still making silk out of a sow's ear !!!

Saras looked fresh n handsome after a long time. 😳He looked more serene talking to kumud. He has already accepted his fate.
...

@Bold... maybe Saras has been taking acting lessons from Gautam Rode...😆 and Kumud from Jen! Each of them is trying to convince the other that they are just fine! (when they are anything but!)

just realised this reminds me of the Hindi movie called Raincoat based on an O.Henry classic story (Gift of the Magi)... young couple celebrate Xmas with no money to buy presents, each of them sells something most precious to them to buy a gift for the other one. She sells her long tresses, buys him a watch chain, he sells his watch to buy her hair ornaments!

Saras and Kumud are now in that perfect equilibrium of parting with each other to give the other one the chance to move on! 😭

@Ivy, loved your exposition... every bit of it...
You may get roses thrown at you if you dont watch out...😆

Underlined: Happy my friend... Straight Sixer! Kya maara hai 😉

Re: TFC... Jen's romantic scenes have never gripped me, as her emotional ones have, but she did seem more comfortable with Aanshul than she was with GR. Simple, subjective observation 😊

Edit: Thank you, thank you ji, red wale mere fav hai 😉 Or didja mean chocolate wale 'Roses' 😳

Hgg bhai, Bravo. But it still leaves a bad taste in the mouth, not impressed at all 😒

The first I ever heard of Krishna... Was from a book I read... "The Krishna Key"... V mainstream kinda desi version of Da Vinci Code. But that compelled me to read a bit more about him. And SC compelled me to delve further into the intricacies of story. A very inspirational figure, I must say.

Thank you much, Arshi. I guess that is what makes Krishna a universal inspiration.

Bold: You cannot imagine the mental image that line conjured 🤣

Bold Two: That is unbelievable.
