unbelievable! and ppl are actually happy about this?? ok i can understand that everyone is happy that the show isn't (or may not be) going off air, but c'mon! it's hardly a good sign that the producer gives up halfway and hands over his so-called "dream project" to someone else! it shows he doesn't even have faith in his own creation...yet he made so many tall claims like this was gonna be a never-seen-before kind of a serial, and that he wants it to go on for like 8 years!! what happened to all that big talk huh, SLB?! so what if you got film commitments, you already knew that before launching SC, so why back out now?? unless you wanted to add SC to your ever growing list of failures?! really, i don't know what else to say, except that i hope this teaches ppl a lesson for future to not get too excited about a big name and to wait and see how true they remain to their grand claims. as for dharma, well they are also a well known movie PH but tv is a different kettle of fish, so hope they can handle it...though K-Jo is much better acquainted with the tv medium than SLB as he's already hosted a successful and popular chat show. and i guess he's good with romance and family sagas, though on a different level to SLB. also, the way SC is presented is very SLB-ish, so i wonder if they will maintain that style/flavor or try to modernize and adapt it to their own sensibilities?? i guess one can only wait and watch... :=/

kjo come slb go or vice versa i dont want saraswatichandra to end in this manner ppl have put in their sweat and blood in it i want the saga to continue and come to a beautiful happily ever after end

it's not a story that can be wrapped up neatly in one or two episodes. it's an epic with many stages, so it needs time to unfold all the different layers and do full justice to the story. i just hope we get to see the whole story all the way to the end, and not a hurriedly wrapped-up/edited version.

but dear, the story is based on a novel and the main plot is about the separation of kumud and saras, so that's not really SLB's fault as that's how the story is written and i like it as it's different to other romances. i mean do all love stories have to be all rainbows and roses?? they can also be tragic and realistic, and i must admit that SLB does that very well (tragedy and pathos). what i would add though, is that the way the story is told is what draws a viewer in or drives them away. in this regard i think they are somewhat lacking. it's been kind of slow and dull and rather confusing at times. the screenplay needs to be more engaging and the characters issues needs to be explored more clearly and logically, e.g. i didn't really understand gumaan's hatred towards VC at first, nor did i get why saras was so upset at the letter when it was obviously there must have been a reason for his mother to commit suicide, so how come he never questioned it before? other problems are things like it's supposed to be set in modern times, but sometimes the characters behave like they are from medieval era, which makes me think that perhaps this would have been better as a period drama. anyway, just because another production house may be taking over it doesn't necessarily mean things will get better, (or worse) it's just a case of wait and watch. whatever happens, i just hope the sensibilities of the current production are retained and the characters don't end up dancing to 'mahi ve'! 😆
