In film was not any alak role b/c i don't think there is any kumud necessary fr upbringing sid..sid has already parents n elder sis..so, why wl b sid an issue before kumud's 2nd marriage? Hai na?
N the way in serial saras character has been built its tough to imagine he wl agree to anyone else except kumud..moreover,film n novel both r quite unfit with present world..n cvs r trying to make adjusting ancient society with present topsy-turvy way.

by the end of novel kumud will gather enough bad name all thanks to her un saparable ness with saras...who unknowingly ends up with her everywhere 😆...be it her in laws after marriage ...or holy mountains where she tries to take her solace after being saved from suicide she attempts due to being thrown out of her in laws house coz of her past love affair with saras


so at last when she gets widowed khoti baat character gets the chance of life time who was and is a widow ...and wanted kumud to live as all widow do ...since that old crap lady never got chance to live so why should other widows...plus that old crap was always jealous of kumud...so when kumud got widoewd she was the happiest but then realised saras can marry kumud ...so she came up with all society norms said that kumuds marriage to saras will bring more bad name to the family ...where a widow dreams of being suhaagan rather then cry for her dead husband ...so nobody will marry kusum ...coz of kumud's bad character

to this kumud was really hurt and feels that kusum life will be destroyed coz of her...so she decided to do sacrifice and get saras married to kusum ...so that kusum gets a good husband ...plus hers and saras true love would be saved from being maligned and will always remain pure ...when Saras recents ... she says to him in the end .....i will always be their for u whenever ur soul requires a celestial and spiritual atonement as I am ur unsaperable part ...lets fulfill our responsibilities... u to society and i the responsibility invested by my dharma as a widow 😕...

so at the end their love story ends into separation just the way radha krishna separated paths ...krishna to rule dwarika and be a great king ...while radha lived her life in some unknown place as his devotee


writer always kept kumud at quit high level and as a woman to whom saraswatichandra intialy desired for , loved , admired and at the end their love reached its pinnacle where their was no desire but an inspiration to the mind and the soul for spiritual oneness ...

@shana0127, thanks for the giving more details abt novel so deep love indeed, hmm i guess if the show follows the novel religiously than i can say we are going to get brilliant performances from both the leads and this show will become a masterpiece for sure in the history of television but i highly doubt people including me can digest this kind of story, though it takes their love to another level but its so hurting at the same time.

such stories are good in film not daily soap where slb said he wants 3ooo episodes 😆

plus i dont want the story to end this way which i have a gut feeling wont...coz this type of stories are no more in fashoin now ...kumud is aaj ki radha and saras only saras no krishna😉

slb said its modern version so we want modern ending ...where lovers do meet ...gone r the days when true lovers were always separated ...in todays era thay live together as now we have Indian laws where humans have all fundamental rights...not like olden days when it was all about men and men
