can some one tell me why saras and kumud dint get married 😕 am sure they got engaged

After Saras went to Dubai, LN at the time was mad becoz Saras missed out business party. But Saras found his maa's last letter which said she comitted suicide because LN had cheated on her with Guman. So saras breaks all ties with them. He in deep emotional trauma called up Kumud and refuses to marry her. Later with Sunny's help he sees how wrong he was and rushes to India to marry her. But there Kumud's marriage is arranged with another guy (Pramad) to save their family honor. The wedding happens and saras is too late. Saras gets beaten up (courtesy Dukhbaa'a husband). The wounded saras is rescued by Pramad's married sister. And that is how saras-kumud end up in same house.
