Why is that only Kumud felt Saras presence? Earlier it was Saras who used to always feel Kumuds presence.

I feel this is because Kumud has gone to such great lengths to erase Saras from her mind and heart (the dah sanskar) etc... But she is unaware that he pervades her consciousness fully. Saras, on the other hand, has not done anything drastic. Yet...
