Saras applying mehndi on Kumuds hand during a wedding
and putting haldi on each other as pre marriage rituals
exchanging jaimala on pooranmashi ki raat
and then applying colour on each other accidently or intentionally. and Kumud getting sindoor in her maang from pooja ki thali in mandir.
both taking vows of marriage and ultimately consummation
stamping them as a couple
isnt this a marriage ?

no...no... i am sure they are already married to each other.
Saras didnt have any guilt but Kumud did which she later realised
as her mistake as she was supposed to resign herself to the one who
loved and worship her.
man and women , married and commited to each other.
I dont think they will be able to forget or let go of each other.
first love, first relation,first touch and everlasting soulmates.
if Kumud gets married to someone else, for some reason
she will forever belong to her husband Saraswatichandra.
other marriage is null and void. its just an agreement/adjustment
circumstances and society can keep her away from Saras physically for some time but ultimately her pure and eternal love for Saras will break all barriers and
she will come back to where she belongs
