Are cvs wilfully transferring 'villain' tag to miss annoy? Or are they hell bent on scaring/shrugging off whatever few loyals they have managed to garner? More than other things, this is most annoying. One factor-unfortunately well known or became known to many prospective viewers on simple googles- and which perhaps has not allowed a flying take off that its initial brilliance or its subsequent reasonableness deserved, is still pursued in a perfect display of foolhardiness. Hypothesis: 'keeping all options open'. Question: ' Was original ever such incautious in Kusum's characterisation?' answer: ' Never. Till end she was adamant in not marrying. Not she, even if desired 'so' by few side characters.' Then why such heedlessness here? A constant nag.
In desperation; if Sunny is kept tagged to Ayesha, what about Danny? Kusum is pretty. And they were pairing well. A better fit than Danny-Kumari.😕
today's respite: Kumud looked stunning, reds and flaming lips aside or along with.😛

Arshi, nice poem, all the girls here would identify with.

Kusum talking like this is deliberate annoyance being created, which is not true to the story.
Someone has put it rightly before, train has arrived at the station early, do not know where to go or what to do. A sad story is probably not right for TV space, they are hesitant to move forward, as viewers we are not ready to see sad Saras. Train is not moving.

Since CVs stock with me is currently at a low, I will just put it down to poor writing.

Her character is the most illogically written character. She is evidently older than Kumari, yet there is more talk on Kamari's marriage than kusum's. she doesn't come across as the serious not interested in marriage as you say she was in the original.

She is shown to have no skills, no persona of her own, now that Kumari is in a sad phase, the CVs have decided to give the bubbly sister role to kusum and this is creating more heartburn!

You are right, in an attempt to keep all options open and not being sure of where to take this, there is this confusion in her role and character that comes through always.

Shiny Doshi too is not able to portray Kusum as the innocent dumbo she is supposed to be, one always feels that there is more to kusum than is revealed!

So once again smrth, lazy writers who do not think through when sketching characters and building them!

Ps: Kumud did look gorgeous in red, a bride in waiting, just the sindoor missing!

I still am wondering, why the secret fast? Karvachauth is kept by girls after engagement and is often expected of them

Yes, Kusum, the more screen space she gets, the more it bothers all of us with where are the cvs going with her!

All this points to happychappy's point of train arrived too early without knowing where it's headed.

As for sad story not being right for TV, I don't agree with you, we are all here knowing fully well it's a sad story, all already bored with romance, and waiting for sadness to descend.

It's all in the execution. Make it good and we will all lap it up!

When the tag line says adhoori dastaan, we all know it would be adhoori, we all know that Milan is not on the cards

All we want is passion, intensity but with consistency and logic! There lies the problem. We would love a sad melancholy hero silently pining, as much as we like this lattoo Chandra.
